⚠️ New vehicle from March 2026! Hello dear visitor, my name is Arnaud and will be your native Guide of this magnificent Provence. Among the 5 tours I offer, I take you today to the vineyards of the southern Côtes du Rhône, including Châteauneuf du Pape. There are several options: OPTION 1 • April to October (from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm): tasting of 9 minimum wines in 3 areas, including 1 in Châteauneuf du Pape to finish the tour. After the 2nd tasting there will be a picnic included consisting only of fresh produce from local farms. OPTION 2 • all year round (2pm to 6.30pm): same tour, but without picnic. OPTION 3 • all year round (from 9.30am to 12.30pm): only 2 estates, including 1 in Châteauneuf du Pape, without picnic. OPTION 4 • all year round (from 9.30am to 12.30pm): only 2 estates, only in Châteauneuf du Pape, without picnic.

Itinerary
After about 45 minutes drive from Avignon, stop in an area located in Beaumes de Venise or Rasteau, lands of a natural sweet wine (Muscat de Beaumes de Venise and VDN Rasteau), but also known for their red wines. Then about 15 minutes drive until the next tasting.
Stop in a second estate located on the Gigondas appellation area (or Cairanne or Séguret) known for its reds, but also white wine producer since 2023. Cairanne has been a red and white appellation since 2016, while Séguret is in Côtes du Rhône Villages in red, white and rosé. The tasting will be followed by a picnic consisting only of fresh produce from local farms (from April to October only, if the tour starts on the m, and if you choose the option with 3 tastings. Options with 2 tastings do not include any picnics. Then about 30 minutes drive to Châteauneuf du Pape.
Tasting of Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines, known worldwide for its reds, but also producing white wines at an average of 8% each year. We will go to a family estate and renowned Châteauneuf-du-Pape for the tasting of at least 1 white wine and 2 red wines. Then 30 minutes drive back to Avignon.

5 STARS! Our tour guide made this trip exceptional! He was extremely knowledgeable, very accommodating & friendly, plus he never rushed us at all. His English was textbook! The 3 stops we made were well chosen for good wines & very friendly vineyard hosts. Our guide packed a fresh lunch for us, grown locally. He offered to store our purchases in his cooler. Accompanied us on garden walks pointing out the names of the herbs & the flowers. He always offered to take photos. Wife noted that the van was very clean & she loved all the water he had for us. She said she felt like we were wine tasting with a friend. Look no further- this is the tour to book.

Arnaud was a fabulous host and tour guide. Our group was very diverse (a couple from Switzerland, a couple from Australia, a woman from Hungary, a gentleman from Canada (French speaking), and a gentleman from California who moved to France 4 years ago) and me (an American from Florida). Luckily for me, everyone (including Arnaud) was comfortable with English. He was so knowledgeable about each of the histories of the wineries and the history of wine making in that area. We were greeted at each winery with a sommelier who guided us through their process. After the second winery, we had a delicious family-style meal compliments of Arnaud himself. He had fresh goat cheeses from his village, two types of tapenades (the black olive one was delish), fresh hard boiled eggs from his parents' farm, and the freshest cantaloupe I've ever had. We sat at a picnic table under a tree in the vineyard with a breeze blowing. I felt like a true Parisian! By far an amazing tour. I had a day to spend alone in Avignon and I was thrilled to spend it with these other travelers, lovely wines, and a fantastic tour guide. Book this tour. Arnaud is a one man business and deserves many years of tours. If this is any indication of the quality of tours he offers, I would have loved to try his other four tours. Very nice tour with 3 stops at different winemakers. The picnic was amazing and our tour guide was fluent in English and very competent. We learned a lot and tasted some really nice wine.

It was a beautiful experience. The guide is independent and does it all alone; he is very accommodating and has great knowledge about the wines, vineyards, and the history. He is well prepared with a cooler in the van (so that the wines you bought do not go bad during the trip), he distributes water to the whole group, and is really very caring. It is definitely worth it!
Arnaud did a great job. We were lucky and no one else was booked with us so it was a very private tour. All three wineries were great. The picnic lunch was great with a variety of items to eat and a great picnic area at the second winery. Arnaud has a great knowledge of wine and the area. You will not regret booking this tour!

Arnoud gave us a wonderful experience through the eyes of someone who has the region in his heart. Cherries from his dad’s orchard was a added bonus for lunch.
