My daughter and I just had the most wonderful evening with Emmanuel at Saint Anna. His tour was entertaining, informative, and fun! Emmanuel is so dedicated to his craft and the history of Saint Anna. The wine and snacks were plentiful and absolutely delicious, and the setting was beautiful. Definitely recommend! Thank you, Emmanuel, and best wishes to you!
The visit to the Saint Anna Winery was one of the best experiences of our trip to Naxos. Located just a short and scenic drive from Naxos Town, this estate is a hidden gem. Our tour guide, Emanuel, brought the estate to life with his knowledge of Oenology, warm hospitality, and passion for the craft. He even allowed us to enter the historic and stunning 9th-century Byzantine chapel of Agia Anna right on the property. The wine tasting itself was a selection of distinct Cycladic wines, perfectly paired with fresh, organic local bites. And learning about each grape’s journey from vine to bottle only enhanced the appreciation of every sip. We loved their sweet red wine so much that we purchased one to enjoy for the remainder of our time in Naxos. If you are looking for an authentic, unpretentious, and deeply inspiring taste of Naxos culture, do not miss this experience. Thank you, Emanuel, for a memorable afternoon.
Touring the grounds and seeing the beautiful Naxos vistas at the Santa Anna Winery is a treat! You're experiencing a young winery with plenty of heart - you can tell that Emmanuel is passionate about his winery. You will hear about the chapel, repurposing of materials, olive oil and wine making production while on the tour in addition to plans for expanding the winery for others to enjoy. The wine tasting and light snacks are fresh and delicious. Yamas!
A dream I would really love to copy! During our vacation in Naxos, we found a brochure for this winery in our apartment, and as true wine lovers, we certainly couldn't miss out on a tasting of something local. After booking our tasting conveniently online (it is possible to choose between two time slots each day), we arrived on our own by quad bike and were welcomed by Emmanuel, a 30-year-old guy who told us about his dream, his story, and his passion, and gave us a tour of the entire facility, which is constantly being expanded and improved. After the tour, we sat down on a beautiful covered patio in front of a beautiful platter with many local products (cheese, cherry tomatoes, olives, oil, bread, etc.) both directly from Emmanuel's land and from other local producers. During the tasting, we had the opportunity to sample 3 wines one after the other (white, rosé, red), 2 passito wines, a homemade liqueur, and the delicious oil, also from Emmanuel's olive trees, all accompanied by explanations and engagement. A beautiful two-hour experience, relaxing, in good company, and above all in a beautiful place that is the envy of others! Absolutely recommended for all lovers of good wine to do.
This was a lovely experience and an opportunity to taste the wonderful products of the winery. Our guide was very informative and full of knowledge about the wine making process. The whole team were very hospitable and extremely helpful when we accidently left our phone behind. I cant thank them enough. I would definitely recommend visiting this lovely winery
Wine presentation was presented in just the right amount of time accompanied by a charcuterie board that was the perfect complement. Delicious, beautiful and fun.
The host is the winemaker who has poured his heart into building this lovely venue and experience. He provides great detail about the wine making process and shares how his Naxos wines (organic and 100% local grapes) came to life.
Emmanuel’s passion and pride for making wine came through on the tour of his winery. The wine was excellent! Leave room in your suitcase to take some bottles home!
Excellent local winery 15 mins drive from Naxos town. Friendly and knowledgeable host. Good selection of wines tasted along with fresh olives from the estate and local cheese. Highly recommended.
Great wine, atmosphere and people you could feel the love in the wines, but also the owner shows the passion that he has for what he does
