We were there about 1030a and hit feeding time....that was great. So many animals it was great. The time of year, and mid week and time of day made for very few cars...we took our time, didn't feel rushed and really enjoyed it. Then we enjoyed the walking park of reptiles and birds and saw a few shows really enjoyed that as well. Loved the gator feeding. Very few people...pick your times and it can be a great time.
Excellent day out, plenty to see and good value
Captain Lauren was AWESOME! She drove the airboat perfectly as to give us excitement but not to scare us. She was also very knowledgable about wildlife and knew exactly where we could find some gators, even though it was really hot outside. The rest of the park was great too. We fed big 20' gators and saw some other beautiful animals! Definitely recommend this for the whole family.
Take your time driving through the park so you get the full experience of the safari! There are such a wide variety of animals to see! And don’t forget the Gator park!
Brilliant!! Such good value Croc shows incredible Really nice feel to the park No issues with refunding the airboat tour tickets when the weather prevented it going ahead What a contrast to the poor customer service at Busch gardens Would definitely recommend
We purchased Florida Resident discount tickets for the drive thru safari. That included the Gator Park. What a great way to spend the day! Hours of viewing animals from the air conditioned car then walked around the Gator Park which had more than Gators. So much to see! It was fantastic! We didn’t even have time to see all of the Gator Park because it was time to head home. You definitely get your money here without fighting crowds. We will be making this a yearly tradition!
The receptionist was very kind, explaining everything very well, and Steven, our airboat driver, was very pleasant and professional. The Crush show was spectacular.
We decided to visit Wild Florida and had an excellent time. The attraction is divided into two main areas: the Drive-thru Safari Park and the walk-through Gator Park and Zoo. We started with the drive-through portion and then parked, had lunch at the Chomp House Grill, and spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the zoo. For Florida residents, admission was $25 per person, which included both the drive-through safari and the zoo. Considering everything there is to see, I thought it was an great value. When you first arrive, you check in at one of two small tollbooth-style buildings before entering the safari. Throughout the drive, you remain in your vehicle and are asked not to feed or pet the animals. There are lots of signs everywhere to remind you of the rules. I actually liked this approach because the animals come close enough to your car to get some excellent photographs while still keeping a respectful distance that allows traffic to keep moving. At the entrance they provide a booklet with pictures of many of the animals, and there is also a QR code you can scan to listen to an audio tour describing the different species you encounter along the way. It made the drive both educational and enjoyable. After finishing the safari, we stopped for lunch before exploring the zoo. For a smaller zoo, there is quite a bit to see. I especially enjoyed the giant tortoises and the alligators, but there were many other animals as well, along with opportunities to get much closer to them than you can in the safari. The grounds were clean, easy to walk, and laid out so you could see everything without feeling rushed. Overall, we thought Wild Florida was a great experience and one of the better values we've found. Between the drive-through safari, the zoo, and the opportunity to enjoy lunch without leaving the park, it made for a fun and relaxing day. If you're looking for a family-friendly attraction where you can see a wide variety of animals at a reasonable price, I would definitely recommend spending a day here. Enjoy!
Way bigger than we thought it would be, totally worth the price. We had a great time. The drive through was cool and the walk through had some cool animals too.
Excellent adventure and priced very reasonably. Safari and gator exhibits were very good. Nice long safari drive with plenty of animals. Not too crowded on weekdays. We fed the alligators.
