Includes unlimited boat-to-beach transfers, a guided walk to the South Whitehaven Lookout, and a buffet lunch served onboard. Whitehaven Beach + Snorkel: Enjoy everything included in the all-day beach ticket, plus a snorkelling adventure. Snorkel at one of the Whitsundays’ coral reef locations with gear and expert guidance provided. Guests are transferred to the snorkel site on ZigZag’s original fast boat, featuring fold-down stairs for easy water access.

South Whitehaven Lookout - Enjoy a 45 minute round trip to the stunning new Lookout at Whitehaven Beach. From the viewing platform you will see all 7km of Whitehaven Beach plus massive views over Chance Bay, Hazelwood islands, Lindeman Group and Pentecost Island
This is the start and return point of the day tour. ZigZag Whitsundays Day Tour meets at meeting point D. Car parking is an extra cost (pay and display)

- Whitehaven Beach + Snorkelling is suitable for children 4+. IMPORTANT: Infants can still join this ticket, but Parents will snorkel at different times, allowing one parent to always be with the infant on Superflyer or at Whitehaven Beach.

We had an absolutely wonderful time! Everything from booking to swimming on Whitehaven beach could not have been easier. The crew were fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable and taking care of all the passengers. The ZigZag tender boat was the safest used by all the tour operators and the care they took of everyone was exceptional. Catering was top notch: we have already recommended the tour to others we’ve met on our travels!
Amazing Day, friendly staff (second to none!), we got to see whales, staff where so accommodating and made sure we were having a good time, very knowledgeable, plenty of food (even if people where abusing the system, staff did their best to ensure everyone had a fair go), snorkeling was great (even for someone who has shark phobia) vessel and amenities were immaculate, 20/10 in my opinion, totally recommend.
Whitehaven Beach a must if you are in this part of the country. Great experience - fantastic caring crew. Good number of tourists - seamless transfers from boat to beach or snorkeling. Thank you for a fabulous memorable day!

We had a wonderful experience on this day trip. It was very efficiently organised by the staff who were knowledgeable, helpful and caring. The morning and afternoon snacks were great, and the buffet lunch was excellent, We can highly recommend this tour.
My wife and I spent an awesome day today with the team from ZigZag Whitsundays. Professional checkin at 820 at the Marina in Airlie Beach and headed out at 900am. Approx 1 1/2 hours to get out to Whitehaven Beach after safety demonstration . Morning tea provided on the way out. Groups were wrist banded into a colour code system to either snorkel or go to the beach in the am and obviously switched in the pm. Full explanation prior to snorkelling confirming ability to enter water and participate. Lots of fish and great coral visible from the designated area. Good lunch served onboard with seconds available. Beach time was what you wanted… a long walk, plenty of time to swim or a hike to the lookout. Great Cheese platters offered on the way home and hot drinks and alcohol could be purchased from lunchtime. Fortunate to see whales on the return trip and our skipper gave us lots of time to watch and photograph which was really welcomed. Meant we got back 35 minutes late but I don’t think anyone was complaining. The entire crew on today’s trip were outstanding … professional, friendly, happy to answer questions, caring for one young girl who wasn’t feeling the best, excited to see the whales and just being present. I won’t mention any individual… it was a team effort and ZigZag should be very proud of those on todays trip… Sunday 9 August. Great experience to Whitehaven Beach. The deckhands and captain did a great job hosting and made it a very relaxing experience. The extra highlight was the captain stopping midway back to the port to give us an extra 15mins to let us whale watch during sunset. High recommend if you are looking for a calm beach day!
We had the absolute perfect day with the crew of Zig Zag! They were so organized and attentive. The day was organized so well, and lunch was great. Both the time spent on the beach and snorkel activities were perfectly run. It didn’t feel overcrowded, and we had a blast!
A smaller group compared to many other larger operators that provides a comfortable ride with a nice lunch and snacks. We were lucky enough to see whales on transit well identified by the skipper. The snorkeling was well worth the extra expense and the staff were helpful to all. Overall highly recommend this tour.
Our day trip to Whitehaven beach was great. Luckily we had good weather and low winds so everything else just fell into place. We were spoiled with multiple whale sightings. The lunch, snacks and fruit were delicious. Especially the salads. And of course the staff 10/10. Knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Would highly recommend this tour.
