The Epic Walking Tour is a fun and interactive tour covering 1,000 years of history in 1,000 paces - from the Vikings to the Victorians. Extremely popular with families, the Epic Walking tour is a fun and engaging tour that will entertain the visitors with numerous photo opportunities. Here in the Viking Triangle, visitors will encounter warring Vikings, be inspired by medieval wonders, and observe elegant Georgian Architecture as they explore our Viking Triangle. The 45-minute all-weather walking tour begins in front of the Bishop’s Palace, located on the Mall (X91 E279).

Guide will show the outside of this Viking tower and allow for photographs to be taken with the Viking Longboat at the site.

Fairly quick tour of the triangle with a few stops along the way. Our guide Liam was terrific. He had great historical stories with great Irish humor thrown in and made sure to connect with everyone on the tour. Recommend taking the tour.

Wow! So much history in a quaint little town and packed into such a small area. The tour only takes 45 minutes and covers a vast history of the town of Waterford. The walking is easy and mostly flat, good for strollers, wheelchairs and walkers. The price was inexpensive for the volume of history you receive. Our tour guide was informative and very polite and helpful. The tour group was small for a weekend, only 4 of us!
