Lara did an excellent job of showing our group the ins and outs of Old Nice. Of course you can do this without a guide, but the purpose of a guided tour is information, and this was perfectly executed. Thanks for the Chez Pipo recommendation!
I had a very enjoyable walking tour of Nice’s Old Town with Soni. I learnt a lot about the city’s history, with plenty of interesting stories and facts along the way. Soni was knowledgeable, engaging and very funny throughout. A great way to learn more about Nice, and I’d happily recommend Soni. Thanks again!
We had great time on our walking trip - our guide was great!! Very knowledgeable and informative
Grea tour. Perfect length and amount of people. Guide was knowledgeable and spoke English well. Definitely worth it
Realky good tour. Guide was lovely, had great information and gave some great tips. Would definitely recommend.
Mostly a good experience. It should be made clearer that while the tour uses a lift, there are still many steps and the guide would leave us at the top with no lift down. Though Alex offered for us to follow her that left no time to enjoy the view once we were up at the top.
Guide walked too fast for the group. She provided some commentary but not nearly enough as we walked about.
Lara was a great host. She was very patient, knowledgeable and did her best to walk us through the old city. She shared with us the historical facts which made the trip interesting! We loved spending time with her!
Please extend our thanks to Soni for her outstanding knowledge. personality and humor that she shared with our group. Vieux Nice has so many stories, built across centuries that it takes a special guide to convey so much in 2.5 hours. Her local experiences as a child, her love of art certainly registered with us. Her recommendations for "local" restaurants and extra things to do in Nice were appreciated. Bottom line? OUTSTANDING.
Easy meeting point to spot. Lara, our guide was lovely and had a lot of interesting facts to share about the area. Beautiful views that are well worth a visit. Took us through Cours Selaya, the market and one of the oldest chocolate shops. No time to buy anything but it was helpful to know where to shop later on. Then up to Castle Hill for a gorgeous waterfall and view. There is an elevator to go up. Anyone with mobility issues should not go on this tour as there are stairs to walk up and down.
