Visit Secret Caves, Hidden Beaches and Snorkel in Alvor, Portugal

This morning we had a lovely adventure with Pedro to secret coves and caves near Portimao. We joined as a family of 4, with 11 and 14 year olds boys. The snorkeling was interesting and fun. We appreciated the information about the area and the environment that Pedro shared - and the snacks on the beach at the end! Thank you / obrigado / diolch as we say in Wales

Magical snorkeling experience to see Alvor’s water caves. You can feel how much the tour guide loves the ocean, caves, and all their wonders. He takes time to show you the tiny treasures many would overlook adventuring alone. Thoughtfulness was evident in the orange slices, delicious goat cheese, and tasty almond cookies at the conclusion of the adventure.

Great organization, a route off the beaten path with caves and really well-hidden beaches!!! Pedro and Inès knew very well how to handle our son who had a hard time getting started. We can't wait to receive the photos 😎

This was the most unforgettable part of our trip. Getting to climb/walk the sea rocks and walls to get to the starting point provided great views and a sense of adventure. Wet suits were provided to help with floating and protect from cold Atlantic Ocean. Exploring the sea caves and swimming through the rocks was incredible and like a dream. Saw lotS of sea life and felt very safe and the staff was kind and informative. They bring their own camera and capture plenty of memories for you so you truly get to just live in the moment and enjoy the adventure.

Pedro was a very nice, sweet and kind soul. We felt very welcome, even though we didn’t know anything about snorkling. We were very suprised by the routes, the caves and the chill snorkling. If you want to avoid the very touristy way of visiting the caves, you should book this experience with Pedro 100%! Thankyou Pedro, we wish you all the best :)

Nice outing, calm and pleasant guide, an opportunity to learn about the nature of the region. It's a shame that the visibility of the water was not ideal, but we still had a lot of fun!

Lovely experience, especially the secret caves. Nice insulated wetsuit kept me warm the entire time even though water temperature was very cool. It was much easier to see the fish on the sunny side of the cliffs. The guides insured everyone was safe at all times.

It was a great experience. Pedro was very patient with our youngest child who found snorkeling exciting. We got a lot of interesting explanations about nature and really saw beautiful places that we would never have found otherwise. The pictures we received later were beautiful. An adventure to remember. Highly recommended!

As my two young boys had only ever snorkelled in a swimming pool before, I was looking for a trip that would be a good introduction to the sea. This experience was fantastic and exactly what we needed. Pedro was an excellent guide who made the whole trip feel very relaxed. We never felt rushed at any point. We saw an impressive amount of sea life, including sardines galore, sea bream, gold bream, spider crabs, and sea cucumbers. The highlight for the boys was definitely spotting an octopus. Beyond the snorkelling, the tour itself was very interesting. The caves were fantastic to see and the private beaches we visited were lovely. Pedro also shared a lot of history about the local rock formations and fossils, which added a nice educational touch to the day. As a single parent with two young kids, I was particularly impressed by how attentive the team were. I felt very safe throughout the trip and never felt pressured. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing way to spend the day, and I would highly recommend it to other families.
