Francisco was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Great way to see the city with personalized attention versus a big group.
Our tour was exceptional. Our group of 6 did this on our first full day, and it was the perfect introduction to Vienna. In addition to the tour, we were shown how easy it was to navigate the public transportation system, which made the rest of our stay much easier. You could really feel the passion for the city throughout the experience, and it helped us get our bearings while seeing the main highlights. Highly recommend!
Anna was the best and highly personable guide, gave an excellent concert recommendation too!
Good overview of the city. The guide knows how to get around well by public transport and on foot. It is good especially for those who are not able to get around independently.
Our private tour guide, Anna, was the best! She asked us where we had already been in the city because she tweaks the itinerary according to your needs. She was knowledgeable, funny, personable, and was mindful of our needs (resting on a bench, water and/or bathroom breaks, etc.). I especially liked that she had bought our tickets to the Schobrunn Palace (included in the pruce of the tour) the day before so we didn't have any waiting. Anna lets you go to the attractions on your own and you text her when finished so you can meet to continue the tour. ***This is totally a walking tour, except when we traveled in the subway (you pay for your own ticket) with Anna to get to one of the attractions. Don't expect the guide to pick you up from the hotel in a car or van. Carry a water bottle, put on sunscreen, and have a compact umbrella because you are outside a lot. The lunch happens at the end of the tour (2-3 pm) and Anna left after we were settled with the food for us to enjoy. She also suggested how to get back to the hotel using public transport. Have fun!
We had great time with our tour guide Anna, who kept contact with us a week before the tour and was very informative. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour of Vienna
I was very excited about this tour. I have always used private guides in other cities and they have always been good. That being said, this tour advertised 5 to 6 hours as a private tour. The tour guide rushed you through saying a lot to see in four hours when I pointed out it was advertised 5 to 6 she slowed down a little. She had no enthusiasm at all. You could see it was just job when in compare it to other guides who loved their country and city and were so happy to help us discover it. Also, we were told that lunch was included. This excursion cost over 300 dollar a person and we were told we could have two drinks and share one lunch. I don’t see how that could be when you pay per person. I think Viator needs to scrutinize and inform their guides a little better. Like I said this was a first that I find their tours are going downhill.
Thank you for your feedback. We respectfully disagree with several points raised. The guide assigned to your tour is one of our most experienced, enthusiastic, and highly rated guides, and the tour was conducted within the advertised duration. Lunch was indeed included; however, due to an honest confusion with the many items included, one dish was mistakenly omitted. This is a very rare occurrence, and we will of course refund the cost of the missing item. We regret this mistake and understand it may have affected your overall impression, but the rest of the tour was delivered as described.
Anja was a fantastic guide and we managed to see and do SO much in our day with her. She went above and beyond, helping us order a delicious lunch at a local market and making lots of great suggestions of things we could do in our time in Vienna. Her knowledge was impressive and she was incredibly pleasant to spend the day with. Do this tour! You will not regret it!

Anna was a fabulous tour guide. She took us to attractions that we probably would have missed on our own. We highly recommend her.
