Was easy to locate driver at the airport. Very helpful with luggage. Made the transfer to our water taxi seemless.
Our shuttle driver, Marcelo was wonderful and so helpful. Our only hiccup was they told our water taxi driver the wrong hotel. Thankfully I realised the hiccup before we got all the luggage for our group off of the boat.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! You are greeted with a driver, clean van, plenty of room for suitcases. Then you get on a boat - think classic Venice wood boat that is the staple! And they drop you off near your hotel. It makes arrival so smooth and not having to deal with lugging suitcases to the ferry and around Venice bridges.
After our order was placed we received regular updates and checks from Viator which, for us, was assuring as this is the first time we have used this vendor. As to the transfer, we were met at the airport with the driver having our name prominently displayed. The driver was courteous, polite and helpful, loading our cases and ensuring we were comfortable before setting off to rendezvous with the boat. The drive was pleasant in our air-conditioned Mercedes which took about 20 minutes to arrive at the boat. Our boat captain was also polite and helpful and we were taken through canals of Venice to our hotel which was on the Lido. Our experience of the transfer was that this was a great start to our Venice adventure and we would both book this again when we return to Venice. Both my wife and I have no hesitation in recommending this means of hotel transfer as we made to feel like film stars arriving.
Excellent service. Van driver was very patient, airline had lost our luggage & we had to complete paperwork. He stayed in contact with us. Our boat ride was uneventful. He gave us directions to our hotel from the closest camel he dropped us off at. Saved time & the trouble of moving our remaining luggage around. Highly recommend!!!

This service was extremely convenient and provided excellent service . Ciprian was waiting for us when we got there since our flight was delayed. Very good communication with the company as well.
Our flight was a bit delayed and then we had a long customs line, but our driver Marius kept in constant contact with us and ensured a smooth pickup and drop off.
The company was outstanding to work with. We had multiple airline delays due to weather in the US. The driver was very understanding and worked with our delays. He was waiting for Us at the airport and took us directly to a water taxi that was waiting for us. With all the crazy airline delays, it was great to not worry about finding transportation to our hotel in Venice.
Our water taxi driver was horrible, mean, and rude. If you ever get water taxi #33, reject him. He pulled my wife onto the taxi, hurting her knee. He complained our luggage was too heavy, despite just coming off airplane within their strict limits, and threw the luggage around his boat. When we docked at our hotel, the concierage apologized immediately for the tavu driver and said they never use him. We were very unhappy with viator and this water taxi driver / package. So many other airport connections to use and choose from, will pick others in the future and stay away from Victor for this. Felt ripped off.

According to our records, the first part of your transfer—the meet & greet at the airport and the private Mercedes transfer with our driver, Marcelo—was completed without any issues. In fact, our driver informed us that everything went well and even received a tip at the end of the journey, so we understood that this part of the service met your expectations. Regarding the water taxi, unfortunately the captain's account differs from yours. As we were not present on board, we cannot determine exactly what happened. However, if the events occurred as you described, we are sincerely sorry that your wife was hurt and that your experience was unpleasant. What disappoints us most is that we were never contacted directly. Had you informed us immediately, we would have investigated the matter at once and arranged an appropriate refund for the water taxi portion of the service. Following our investigation, we have nevertheless decided to stop working with Water Taxi No. 33. While this is the first complaint we have ever received about this boat, we take every customer's experience seriously and cannot ignore such allegations, even if we cannot independently verify exactly what occurred. That said, we do feel that a one-star review does not accurately reflect the overall service provided. More than half of your transfer—the airport meet & greet and the luxury Mercedes transfer—was completed successfully and without any reported issues. The complaint relates only to the water taxi segment. We are genuinely sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. Venice is a unique and complex city, involving multiple independent operators, but this is not an excuse. We constantly review our partners to ensure the highest possible standards, and your feedback has led us to make changes.
