Among the streets of Venice is this bridge that all Venetians know. Why? I'll tell you the "funny story" behind this bridge that often goes unnoticed by tourists!
The most significant waterway in Venice. With its characteristic inverted “S” shape and a length of about 4km, it traverses the entire historic center, representing one of the most fascinating and evocative routes in Italy.
One of the city's landmarks with a special history behind it. Also be prepared to discover a special viewing terrace nearby.
One of the most unique buildings in Venice is hidden among the city streets! You can freely take some pictures outside but, if you want to enter, you'll need a ticket that cost 8€.
The hub and symbol of the city, St. Mark’s Square was praised by Napoleon as “the most beautiful salon in Europe.” This square, created with the construction of St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace, is universally renowned for its extraordinary beauty.
Perhaps the most famous monument in the entire city! We will talk about the history of the building and I will tell you some curious facts! Ticket cost: 6€

Sadly by the time we started this self tour an electrical storm had arrived. We only got to 3 of the stops and had to abandon the tour. The 3 stops we saw were informative. You need good navigational skills.
This audio book was not easy to use, it doesn’t connect with your GPS so you have ti continuously toggle between the website and the maps. The info was not as helpful honestly.
Easy to access/activate and use. We used the guide more for reference than a complete walking tour and the info and links to Google Maps worked great. We’d have never found the tower without the guide’s rec and directions. Highly recommend!
I would not book this tour again. The audio has nothing to do with a tour led by locals, as stated. The AI translation is poor, and you need to have the tour page open to listen to the audio without interruption. The map only shows the sights and not your own location, so you need Google Maps to be guided through the alleys of Venice. You constantly switch between audio and Google Maps to either listen to something or stay on track, or even to take a photo. It was just exhausting, and we canceled the "tour."
Ciao! We're sorry you didn't enjoy our Venice experience (even though it's one of the most popular guides)! Our idea is to use Google Maps integration (one of the best online navigation tools) and, once you reach the attraction, listen to the audio. We think it makes little sense to listen to a description of St. Mark's Square before you've even arrived, don't you think? 😉 I hope this answer helps other travelers! Ciao Federica Walking Cap Tours
Was ok. I wish there was a little more information on each place. Most recordings were around 60 seconds.
Perfect for the first day in Venice to get my bearings and to see the highlights of the city. Download was available immediately and off I went!
An interesting insight into an incredible history. Nice to walk the streets without a large group and very clear instructions on how to get around.
It was our first time in Venice, and we were only there for one day. Thanks to the walking tour, we got a wonderful introduction to the city and its most important sights. We learned a lot, had a great time, and really enjoyed the experience. It was fun, well organized, and a perfect way to explore Venice in a short amount of time. Highly recommended!
Only downside is the slightly annoying American accent!
Great digital audio and map of Venice. Would highly recommend!
