Wow Vang Vien was a favourite of mine Loved the area .Hot air balloon flights to great trekking to Paramotors Just awesome. Excellent restaurants too So much to enjoy here especially if you love the outdoors
Canceled on me after midnight, about 8 hours before the activity was supposed to start. They stated there were "technical problems." Not sure what type of technical problems arise at 1 in the morning so I asked them for detail...they never responded. Wasn't able to get a comparable tour through Viator due to the short notice.
So to go to the tip and the blue lagoon 1 don't get fooled by these tours operator Rent a scooter 100,000 kip 120000kip 5 euro a day you will have to do some km but the landscape is worth it once arrive the entrance is at 20,000 kip 50 ct euro and for the lagoon 1 idem some killometre entered 20,000 kip 50 ct Favour old clothing for the tip because the rise it will sting hard and the fall too and change you business specific to the blue lagoon Basketball privilege for the tip or shoe hiking tchirt cotton and pants hiking because bermuda schort the rock cuts so it is far from the 36 euros that the tour operator offers a real scam
Fantastic tour guide. The tour itself was great, big hike followed by a dip in the water. Highly rate it. The tour guide made us feel comfortable and kept us entertained
Didn’t end up doing the tour, the tour guide cancelled the tour the morning of at 1am. I only realised it was cancelled once I got to the meeting point and went to get our tickets ready only to see it had been cancelled. No proper notification came through so it was lucky I went to get my tickets. My partner and I were really looking forward to this particular tour. If we had found out sooner and not the morning of we could have organised the same tour with a different company but because of our limit time in Vang Vieng we were unable to do so. I understand things happen and may not be able to go ahead but better communication could have been used like a direct email to say the tour had been cancelled.
The view at the top was magnificent but the route is very difficult (rock, board, steep slope) so difficult up and down. I haven't seen many people over fifty years old. I'm 65 years old. Afterwards I find the hiking price high
The tour started out with some confusion. Apparently, there were 2 other guests staying at our same hotel who our tour operator picked up just before we arrived in front of our hotel. After several calls and a trip to the main office, we finally figured out what happened. Overall the experience was amazing. The hike was definitely not for the faint of heart but the views were worth the hike. The Blue Lagoon was a fun experience and a great way to cool off after the hike.
