Description
We will start your tour early to avoid the crowds and the heat. In Uxmal, we will have a guided tour with one official guide, where you will learn more about the culture and architecture of this amazing city. Afterward, we will head to a nearby village for a typical lunch from the region. Following the meal, we will drive to a rural community where we will visit two of the most impressive cenotes in Yucatán. Here, you will have time to swim and marvel at these geological wonders.

In Uxmal, your certified official guide will lead a guided tour. During this tour, you will learn about the culture, history, and architecture of the Maya civilization, with a particular focus on the archaeological site of Uxmal and afterwards, you will have to explore on your own or take more photos.
After the visit to Uxmal, we will head to a small town, where we will have a typical lunch at a local eatery.
This is one of the most beautiful cenotes in Yucatán, and a true representative of the open cenote.
It is a cave cenote with mineral formations of stalactites and stalagmites, and the water is an impressively turquoise color. Truly a hidden gem.

It was simply amazing. The whole tour was very well guided and planned. Jorge, our tour guide was very informative as well as flexible with everything. I went solo and that was one of the best tours I have taken through Trip Advisor and Viator.
Jorge was truly superb. Truth. He was pleasant, engaging, and very knowledgeable. He led with confidence and a very educated basis. The trip included people from 5 countries I think. He did a great job blending the tour experiences well with everyone. The sites were well chosen and everyone agreed this exceeded other Mayan tour experiences. Uxmal was simply amazing. I wanted more time, but we all needed to move on. Will certainly go back on my own someday. Our family group of 5 thoroughly enjoyed the day. We all slept well. We hope to cross paths with Jorge again someday. Very personable man.
Everything was very comfortable, the guide was always interested in making sure we were all okay and having a good time. The meeting point gives you a chance to stop for breakfast at Santa Ana Park before departing.
There was a Mexican on our trip, where we were a total of four participants. He would rather visit another cenote, so we spent time putting him off, which was okay as it was on the way. But when we had to pick him up again on our way back to Mérida, the other three ended up sitting in the car for almost an hour and waiting for him. So what had been a nice trip so far and with a good and very knowledgeable guide, unfortunately ended up becoming a trip, where an hour in a warm car in rainy rain is what you remember best.

A fantastic tour. Jorge was an incredible guide with the greatest depth of knowledge. He looked after us really well and was able to give us the richest of tours whilst also being honest about common misconceptions about Mayan history. He deeply cares about the environment and that is at the heart of the message of the tour. We had a fantastic time with our two young children who really enjoyed the tour. We really loved the authentic local lunch and the two cenotes were fantastic especially the open one which really was beautiful. This is nature and history at its finest combined. Highly recommended
I thought the experience was excellent. Erik did an amazing job with the tour. I have been on many tours and this was one of the best I have ever been on. I also went on the celestun trip with his company and again it did not disappoint. My only regret is not scheduling more time to take more of their tours. The food places they selected were great, the ride was nice, and they are very friendly and knowledgeable about the region. If I'm in the region again I will not hesitate to book another tour with them. Would I recommend them to others.?.. absolutely and I already have told my friends and family. They are jealous of the adventures!
Skillful guide until he let a Mexican participant visit another cenote, which meant we others sat in the car and waited for him for 45 minutes. Waste of other people’s time!! Uxmal was nice, however, and the guide was as I said skillful. The first cenote was also worth a visit and the lunch was fine.

We would like to clarify that the situation had nothing to do with the guest’s nationality. Whenever a guest has already visited the cenotes included in our itinerary, we try to offer them the opportunity to visit a different one so they can enjoy a new experience. We extend this option to every guest, regardless of where they are from. On that particular day, heavy rain at the cenote led your group to decide to leave much earlier than originally planned. We had scheduled approximately 50 minutes at each cenote, but the group spent only about 20 minutes at each, which unfortunately created more waiting time than expected. Unfortunately, the other guest did not have phone service and was unable to receive our messages. He had already been informed in advance of the time we would pick him up, so he was unaware that we were waiting for him. This resulted in an unexpected logistical issue that, fortunately, is something we had never experienced before. We truly regret the delay and understand how frustrating it must have been. We appreciate your understanding and are glad to hear that you enjoyed Uxmal, the first cenote, the lunch, and the guidance provided during the tour.
Our experience was wonderful with Jorge! We are three 24-year-old girls, and the care and attention we received was 10/10. The guide was very attentive and has great knowledge of everything. In the end, it started to rain, and he even offered to take us to our Airbnbs.
