This was by far the worth every penny. The ride from downtown Nashville was pleasant. Our tour guide at Uncle Nearest was eddo knowledgeable as well as entertaining. Don’t miss out!
What a great review! We are so glad you enjoyed the bus ride and the distillery tour. Thank you for booking with us.
Superb tour. So much history and Tyler, our tour guide, was fabulous in every way. Only slight drawback was that at the largest bar only two bartenders were serving a large number of visitors. Other than that, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful…cheers to Uncle Nearest.
Thank you!! Go glad you enjoyed the tour.
It was a good tour. Tyler was great. He was very knowledgeable. More time needed for last tour and shopping!
So glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for booking with us.
Trip and tour was amazing! The drive was smooth and comfortable. Mr. Jimmy is hilarious and gave a great history or Nashville. The tour was great . Got to try a special edition. Perfect Meet lovely couples on the tour.
So glad you like Jimmy’s tour!! Thank you.
Jimmy the driver of the bus was Great! The winery not lining up the tour with the ability to purchase food not so much. The food could be better but the staff were cool! Overall, great tour.
Thank you for the great review! We're glad you had a wonderful time and that Jimmy helped make the day enjoyable. We appreciate your feedback about the timing and food at the distillery and will keep it in mind. Thanks for choosing Tennessee Whiskey Tours—we hope to see you again soon!
Our experience was horrible. A complete scam. We were 30 mins late leaving on the tour bus, which resulted in a short tour and no option to eat at the restaurant. I made a complaint and was further insulted with a $20 refund on a $368 tour expense. To boot, we purchased over $1200 of UN products. Do not take this tour!!!!!
We're sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet your expectations. We understand how disappointing a delayed departure can be, and we appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. While we did arrive at the distillery in time for the full tour and whiskey tastings, we recognize that the delay affected the overall pace of the day, including your dining options. We've addressed this situation internally to help ensure our guests who arrive on time are prioritized in the future. We've also been in direct contact with you regarding your concerns. We genuinely appreciate your feedback and regret that your experience fell short of the standard we strive to provide.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience on the July 11, 2026, 1:30 p.m. tour to Uncle Nearest Distillery by your company. Jimmy our transportation guide provided the worst service ever. The tour started behind schedule, which immediately put us behind and impacted the overall experience. Because of the delays, we were rushed through several parts of the tour and did not have enough time to fully enjoy or appreciate everything that was advertised. Instead of feeling like a relaxed, immersive experience, it felt like we were constantly being hurried from one stop to the next. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was the behavior of the tour guide. There were several inappropriate jokes and gestures that were unprofessional and unnecessary. While humor can make an experience a little enjoyable, there is a difference between being entertaining and being inappropriate. The comments and gestures made some guests visibly uncomfortable and took away from what should have been an enjoyable experience. For the amount of money paid, I expected a well-organized, respectful, and complete tour. Instead, I left feeling disappointed that we were delayed, rushed through the experience, and subjected to unprofessional conduct from the guides. I hope management reviews what occurred on the July 11, 2026, 1:30 p.m. tour, provides additional professionalism training to its staff, and improves scheduling so future guests can experience the full tour without feeling rushed. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this tour

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish. The tour departed about 30 minutes late because the driver chose to wait for late arrivals. That was unfair to those of us who respected the instructions to arrive at least 10 minutes before departure. Everyone else's experience should not be shortened because some guests failed to arrive on time. To make matters worse, the driver, Jimmy, spent much of the ride making inappropriate and unprofessional jokes, including repeatedly talking about collecting "coochie coupons" from his wife. This was uncomfortable and not the type of commentary anyone expects on a paid tour. The late departure directly affected our time at Uncle Nearest. Our visit was rushed, and we were not able to enjoy everything included in the advertised itinerary. We had no chance to visit the bar or order food because Humble Baron was closing by the time our tasting ended, despite the itinerary stating we would have 45 minutes there. My group drove several hours specifically for this experience and spent well over $100 per person. We paid for the full tour that was advertised, but because of poor time management and an unprofessional tour guide, we did not receive it. I cannot recommend Tennessee Whiskey Tours based on this experience. Unless significant changes are made, especially regarding punctuality and professionalism, I would not book with them again.

The driver (Jimmy in Nashville) wanted to wait 30 minutes for people who weren’t there on time. So, we didn’t leave until 2PM for a 1:30PM departure. The driver even said we probably wouldn’t have time to get food or anything since we would be getting there late. It was very unprofessional to make us wait on one person who was late which cut our experience late. We should’ve gotten private transportation.
