You will be picked up by our driver and tour guide using an air-conditioned car at 6:00 AM at your hotel in Malang or Surabaya. From Surabaya takes 3 hour's drive. Since it is a long drive just tell to the driver if you need to stop to rest your legs.
You will be picked up by our driver and tour guide using an air-conditioned car at 6:00 AM or 7: 00 AM at your hotel in Malang or Surabaya. From Malang to Tumpak Sewu takes 2 hours and 30 minutes drive, while from Surabaya takes 3 hours drive. Since it is a long drive just tell to the driver if you need to stop to rest your legs.
When arriving at Tumpak Sewu Parking Area, takes a 10-minutes walk to Panoramic View Point to enjoy the view of falls from the top. Afterwards take 30-minutes hike down to the base of falls, your adventure start here. Watch your step when hiking down because it's a little bit slippery, don't worry our guide will be with you. Afterall please enjoy the amazing Tumpak Sewu Waterfalls, it will become the moment you never forget.
After having an amazing time at the bottom of Tumpak Sewu, you'll continue on to the Tetes Cave Waterfall, which is just a short 10-minute walk away.
After experiencing the amazing Tumpak Sewu and Tetes Cave, you will return to Malang/Surabaya around 12:30 PM and the expected time to arrive back at your pick-up point is around 03:00 PM.

It was a great experience to book the trip through IDN. The IDN team was super responsive and also organized a private trip for us (a family of 4 with two kids) to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall & Goa Tetes Cave and a driver to Bali. The guide was excellent, took very good care of the kids and even created a very nice video of our trip that she shared with us without and additional cost.
We contacted IDN with only one day's notice for a tour to the Tumpak Sewu waterfall. They responded immediately, offering us a private tour with a guide at a great price. A special thanks goes to our fantastic guide Dede: to avoid an endless line, he accompanied us along an alternative, less-traveled path, taking us straight to the waterfall. We left on time (6 hours) towards the falls, because it can be busy early. Note that you have to walk down a lot of steps and some of these steps can be slippery, along the way you also walk through a little water and have the opportunity to swim. Wear shoes with grip, but also that are allowed to get wet, such as tevas. Same for the clothes, wear an outfit that can get wet and possibly allow you to swim and/or walk under the waterfall, such as a sports set. A really nice activity and our guide also gave us plenty of time and space to go somewhere we wanted to look. Top experience!

It was a wonderful experience, and the two tour guides definitely contributed to that. The driver was friendly, punctual, and had a good driving style. Our tour guide was equally friendly and was able to give the whole experience an extraordinary touch with his expertise. We were shown 3 breathtaking waterfalls, and we enjoyed every minute.
