Hello from Cyprus Taste Tours! We're a friendly team of local guides all with Cypriot heritage. A group of true foodies, our activities focus on discovering Cyprus through food & wine... You’ll be driven around the Troodos mountain villages to visit 4 carefully selected wineries. Each boutique winery you'll visit is family-owned and you'll have the chance to meet the individuals behind the wine-making and have all your questions answered on this brilliant small group excursion. You'll tour the premises of at least two of the wineries to learn about the process and history of wine. Through each tasting session you'll discover the indigenous grape varieties of the island and experience a selection of whites, rosés and reds.
We'll pick you up from a Paphos location of your choice. Our team guarantees you a fantastic day out - we'll make the most of your time with us and take you on a bespoke journey through Cyprus villages. Established in 2011 - we're confident we know all the best spots and we never stop exploring! We're all fully trained in the traditional foods and wine of the island and you'll be sure to receive a professional, 5 star experience. We'll tour the Troodos mountain countryside to visit 3 different wineries and the wine cellar of a historical monastery. This scenic monastery is dedicated to 'Our Lady of the Golden Pomegranate' and was founded in 1152 by monk Ignatios who found a miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary off the shore of Pafos. Legend has it that it was thrown into the sea in Asia Minor during the iconoclastic period and drifted by the waves to Pafos. The present building dates to 1770.
We'll stop in Polemi village* for a delicious traditional meze lunch with wine and bottled water - all included with your Cyprus Taste Tours ticket. *The village and taverna we visit is subject to change depending on the final route.

We offer door-to-door transport from almost any Paphos location including hotels, airbnbs, private accommodation, landmarks etc. We can also offer pick-up or drop-off at the airport if this makes your participation more convenient. If you do not see your pickup location on the list at the time of booking - please go ahead with your booking and in the unlikely case that we cannot fulfil the pick-up - a full refund will be processed. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CRUISE SHIP PASSENGER BOOKINGS THROUGH VIATOR / TRIPADVISOR - PLEASE CONTACT US DIRECTLY. This tour runs on specific dates - if the available dates aren't suitable and you would like to take part in a food / wine experience on another day then please check Cyprus Taste Tours for our other options as we have activities running on every day of the week. PLEASE NOTE: We offer bespoke journeys into the Troodos mountain range and therefore the itineraries stated are subject to change with the season and the locals available to host us. The timings are a guideline and if you must be back at your accommodation at a certain time - YOU MUST LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE. PLEASE NOTE: The Troodos mountain range spans Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos and Nicosia and it is in the mountainous areas of these districts that you find the rural villages of Cyprus. This tour DOES NOT visit Troodos Square and will only visit various villages within the Troodos mountain region.

We had an absolutely wonderful day with Cyprus Taste Tours! 🍷🇨🇾 The intimate group of just four people made the experience feel personal and relaxed, and the scenic drive through Cyprus made the day even more enjoyable. Our tour guide, Christina, was personable, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made the whole experience so much fun and really brought the history, culture, and wine of Cyprus to life. The traditional Greek lunch was absolutely amazing—delicious, authentic, and a perfect part of the experience. All three wineries we visited had their own unique qualities, but Ayia Mavri was phenomenal and definitely a highlight of the day. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We loved the combination of beautiful scenery, wonderful food, great wine, and Christina’s excellent company. I was travelling alone so taking a pre organized tour was a really fun way to spend one day. At the same tour with me were five other people. We had amazing time together and our tour guide Georgina was really nice! In the morning we had a minor misunderstanding because I misread the message I received the day before and I was waiting at the hotel lobby while Georgina was waiting me outside of the hotel in the street. But after that minor misunderstanding everything went really well. The tree wineries we visited were very different from each other but I really liked that it showed us the variety of wineries they have here in Cyprus.

This was a fantastic experience- we were picked up in the morning by Elena our guide for the day - she sent a msg saying she had arrived and we went straight out to her She said that she had water in a cool bag for us on the trip - if anyone would like it The party of us in the vehicle were 6 and everybody got on great - we visited 3 wineries and called at a local taverna for lunch- absolutely fantastic food and wine - oh I forgot there was water in the table as well Elena was a fantastic guide - informed us if everything - thank you

Elena was our guide on this tour - we she arrived outside our hotel she msg to say she had arrived - so we didn’t have to ask our cars that were pulling up for other excursions We picked another 4 people up and Elena was very informative to what would happen next she also had bottles of water in a cool bag for all of us We went to 3 wineries and tasted wines there - we also were taken to a taverna for lunch - this was a very clean taverna and we had lots & lots of different dishes - Meze everything cooked perfect again more wine on the table - also water The last winery we visited the owner made appearance and spoke very good English- he looked so well and we asked him what was his secret - a glass of wine a day 👍 he really looked amazing for his age Elena was the perfect guide for our trip so a big thank you from us

We had an absolutely fantastic day, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Christina. She was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts without it ever feeling like a lecture. Christina was friendly, easygoing, and made everyone feel relaxed and welcome from the start. The whole day was well organised, but it never felt rushed, and nothing was too much trouble. The wineries were all excellent, and we really enjoyed the variety and balance of wines we had the opportunity to taste. The staff at each winery were also incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and happy to share their expertise, which made every visit even more enjoyable. Christina’s enthusiasm for the places we visited really added to the experience and made the day all the more memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fantastic day out. Thank you, Christina, for making it such a brilliant experience!
