You’ll be driven into the Troodos mountains through carefully selected villages to visit 4-5 traditional product workshops and taste a variety of Cypriot delicacies. One of these stops will be a winery plus a visit to the scenic village*. You'll experience foods* such as halloumi, village bread, wine, honey, donkey milk products and traditional sweets. On this day tour you’ll be driven around carefully selected villages to visit 5 traditional product workshops to taste a variety of Cypriot delicacies. You’ll learn about the sourcing of ingredients, the making process and the traditions linked to the products. You'll experience foods such as halloumi, honey, wine, traditional sweets and more*.
We'll pick you up from a Larnaca location of your choice. Our team guarantees you a fantastic day out - we'll make the most of your time with us and take you on a bespoke journey through Cyprus villages. Established in 2011 - we're confident we know all the best spots and we never stop exploring! We're all fully trained in the traditional foods and wine of the island and you'll be sure to receive a professional, 5 star experience. When booking with Cyprus Taste Tours - you'll be supporting a small local business and helping to keep the culture & traditions of the island alive!
We'll tour the Troodos mountain villages for a full day of foodie fun! *We keep our tours authentic by visiting true locals and because these local villagers are busy with every day life - we cannot guarantee which stops we'll be including... However you can be sure that you'll visit 5 fantastic places within the Troodos mountain villages and experience a foodie day out like no other! Some of the possible spots are listed below but others cannot be found on Tripadvisor and will not appear on the list. All applicable entrance fees, tastings and lunch costs are included in the price.
You'll visit 5 destinations during your day out with Cyprus Taste Tours
We'll stop off in Lefkara village to see try traditional sweets, see the village ladies making lace and explore the sights.
Along the way we’ll stop at a village tavern to enjoy an authentic meze lunch – a spread of delicious Cypriot dishes. Any applicable entrance fees, tasting fees, door-to-door transport, meze lunch with bottled water and one local drink (beer, wine, soft drink) are all included in the tour price.
We'll explore the mountain countryside of the Larnaca district
We'll visit a family winery making traditional Cyprus wines
We'll be exploring the rural areas and culture of Cyprus through the world of food & wine! The timings stated on this description page are a guideline only and are subject to change - if you need to get back to your accommodation at a certain time - YOU MUST LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE!

We offer door-to-door transport from almost any Larnaca location including hotels, airbnbs, private accommodation, landmarks etc. We can also offer pick-up or drop-off at Larnaca airport if this makes your participation more convenient. If you do not see your pickup location on the list at the time of booking - please go ahead with your booking and in the unlikely case that we cannot fulfil the pick-up - a full refund will be processed. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CRUISE SHIP PASSENGER BOOKINGS THROUGH VIATOR / TRIPADVISOR - PLEASE CONTACT US DIRECTLY. This tour runs on specific dates - if the available dates aren't suitable and you would like to take part in a food / wine experience on another day then please check Cyprus Taste Tours for our other options as we have activities running on every day of the week. PLEASE NOTE: We offer bespoke journeys into the Troodos mountain range and therefore the itineraries stated are subject to change with the season and the locals available to host us. The timings are a guideline and if you must be back at your accommodation at a certain time - YOU MUST LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE. PLEASE NOTE: The Troodos mountain range spans Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos and Nicosia and it is in the mountainous areas of these districts that you find the rural villages of Cyprus. This tour DOES NOT visit Troodos Square and will only visit various villages within the Troodos mountain region.

First off, Helena, our guide, is a gem - so knowledgeable, experienced and effortlessly fun. It was a real blessing to get to know and experience Cyprus from and with her. The tour itself was the most packed with the experiences, tastes, local people and crafts, landscapes; one of the best days during my travels in Cyprus. So it is truly a must go if you have a day to spend in the mountains and you want to enjoy some hand picked experiences in a small cozy group driven in a comfortable vehicle. We even got the photos sent in a week after our tour which is beautiful! Overall, the tours that CYPRUS TASTE TOURS provide are tasteful, thought through, and utterly professional. My inspiration, respect and gratitude to everyone involved.

Today we were hosted on a full day tour by Maria at Cyprus Taste Tours. This has been a highlight of our whole trip and I am so grateful to Maria for making the experience personal, informative, fun and relaxing. She was able to answer all of our questions about Cyprus, foods, wine and the region we explored. The van was clean, modern and well kept and the air conditioning was good. Had a really good day with Helena as our guide! The recommendation was to have breakfast but we had sooo much lovely food I wouldn’t recommend this. An air conditioned car kept us cool and all meals and walking was in the shade. Learnt a lot and had lovely food, would really recommend!

It was an amazing tour with Georgina! She is with full energy for the whole day and never missed out looking after anyone in the group. At the same time she is full of knowledge of the place and delivered them in very interesting way. Not to mentioned some fun fact about the culture since we did the tour one day before easter which is very interesting for me as well. All good and beverage we tried were excellent. I also love that it is small group less than six so it’s very interactive throughout and effiecient. I enjoyed it so much! Thank you again Georgina🫶🏽

Firstly from day one from reserving this tour everyone was accommodating that I was travelling from Nicosia, they organised a place to meet close to Lanraca and it worked out very well. I was emailed and contacted on WhatsApp many times. Georgina was an absolute delight. Chatty bubbly, really encouraging you to talk and was incredibly welcoming, and knowledgable of local cuisine. She was also incredibly accommodating and helped me get the bus home back to Nicosia in Larnaca! I will treasure the memory of this tour and really love to do it again one day.

We took this tour with Helena and were picked up at our Larnaca stay along with one other. We then drove to Limassol to pick up 2 other guests - so 5 in total. The vehicle takes 7 although I would not have liked a full day in this car with 7 people - I already had issues with leg room in the back. Regardless Helena took us off to the Troodos mountains and some small villages to visit. The only one I would have skipped was the Rose Factory - for us it was too much of a sales pitch and not a lot of interesting information. The wine tasting was in a beautiful vineyard - Helena did not join us at the table - and the staff member serving us wasn't the friendliest. Enjoyed the wine but not so much the experience. Lunch stop was great - lots of food and whatever was not eaten was free to take home. A long day and it was after 7pm when we got back to Larnaca but we enjoyed it and would recommend the tour.
