This was a highlight of our fantastic trip to Guatemala! Oscar was so knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we experienced the market to its fullest. The market is a huge, chaotic (in the best way), colorful maze, which we would not have been able to navigate on our own. Oscar taught us how to recognize quality textiles, recommending specific artisan stalls. He also recommended the best coffee and restaurant to have lunch. By the end of our tour, we felt like part of Oscar's family. He was truly one of the best guides we have ever had.
It was marked as a “private” tour, so imagine our surprise when we were joined by others. If the tour is marketed as private, it should be private.
