Bolivia is fast becoming a gastronomic hot-spot with its abundance of local Bolivian dishes and their distinct flavours which sets it apart from the rest of the world. At La Boca del Sapo we are passionate about the Bolivian food scene and want to share our passion for Bolivian food with like minded travellers. Through our interactive cooking classes travellers not only gain the skills to recreate a traditional Bolivian dish for friends and family at home, they get to know the local ingredients and their significance to the Bolivian people. At La Boca del Sapo we believe that culture and tradition is at the heart of Bolivian food. Our concept is that you not only enjoy cooking and eating the delicious food we make, but through food you learn more about Bolivan culture and traditions, whilst making new friends!

We highly recommend this cooking class! We had a great time that allowed us to truly discover Bolivian cuisine and culture, especially the different varieties of potatoes. The cocktail was one of the best of our lives. All the ingredients are local and the cook is more than competent!
Excellent experience. Well paced. Lots of opportunity to chat and explore all things Bolivian with the host, in English and Spanish. Active participation was encouraged. Perfect presentation from a trained chef. Delicious food, eaten with newfound understanding, and a special juicy cocktail, ‘Carnevalita’. Highly recommend!

We loved the experience, Moses was very attentive and didactic during the class when explaining the spicy chicken recipe and details about each of the ingredients, plus extra ingredients. This class is perfect for those who want to learn more about country from its cuisine, we learned a lot about the culture, differences between regions, history and all kinds of foods that grow in Bolivia. The class was very rich in knowledge and also practice, I recommend it to everyone who wants to know the country from its roots!
Everything was very good organized. He explained a bit about the different kinds of foods and what we would be making. The kitchen was very clean and the cooking was very fun! We learned a lot about the Bolivian cuisine and ate some delicious food. Also the making of the cocktails was very fun! Overall a super good experience and I would definitely recommend!
The cooking class at La Boca del Sapo was a pleasant and fun experience. First of all, the place is very cozy and the kitchen is organized and clean. Moisés guided us step by step through the preparations, but the class was not just about cooking since Moisés knows how to convey his passion and his knowledge about Bolivian culture and gastronomy. We prepared a peanut soup, an appetizer with potatoes, a dessert, and a cocktail, and we were able to share them all together at the table after the class. An activity that I definitely recommend in Sucre.
Amazing experience with Moíses and La Boca del Sapo. Beautiful fresh ingredients that were so colourful to make a 3 course meal that looked and tasted delicious. Really recommend - the best cooking experience we have ever done.
Great experience. I was the only person in the class and it became a private lesson. The chef was very nice to keep my reservation. Enjoyed the two course meal and cocktail.
