Very interesting to discover these communities, the guide Freddy was excellent, kind , very informative.
The tour was very good as typical and authentic aspects of the islands were shared with tourists. The guide Herbert Yohnny has been very good in introducing us to the culture and explaining us how to respect the population of the islands. The restaurant has an amazing view and food and offered a vegetarian option. Also the traditional techniques of weaving and making shampoo shown to us were super interesting. Totally recommend!
Extraordinary tour. Beautiful places, very friendly local people, the trip was comfortable. The guide was exceptional, knowledgeable about history. An unmissable tour.
A nice day, although the Uros island is 100% geared towards tourists, it is interesting to see their way of life; Taquile Island has somewhat difficult access, but it can be done slowly. The delicious food with views of the lake was a 10 and our guide María Elisabeth was an absolute delight.
Really enjoyed our Uros and Taquile tour. Everything was well organized. Our guide, Heber, was absolutely fantastic, spoke great English and had a wealth of knowledge about the islands. Overall an incredible experience.
The excursion to the floating Uros islands and to Taquile was a complete success. The organization was top-notch, everything ran smoothly. The tour guides spoke very good English and provided a lot of interesting information about the islands, the inhabitants, and their way of life. All questions that came up were answered professionally and competently.
good service, the guide was very kind and very attentive
Pleasant and interesting excursion to learn about the way of life of the Aymaras in the Uros and the Quechuas of Taquile. Our guide Carlos was extraordinary, he had all the necessary information on every aspect of the day and, even, he teaches you some words in Aymara. Highly recommended.
Great day trip, exceeded expectations. Perfect amount of time in each place, with great descriptions and demonstrations. Great oppotunity to buy locally made handcrafts (with backstory, and without sales pressure) Good lunch with vegetarian options. Fred was an incredible tour guide, giving amazing insight, especially as he was from the Uros islands, plus spoke the native language fluently, along with English, Spanish, plus some French. A great mix of knowledgeable and fun
Very good experience. From the moment they picked us up at the hotel, everything was well organized. Both guides (Eber and Freddy) speak very good English and have a lot of knowledge of both destinations. Highly recommended.
