Itinerary
We leave Madrid to start our tour.
We will arrive at the Spanish Steps of Consuegra, where we will tell the most important and momentous stories of Consuegra in all its history, we will take some pictures in its central square.
We'll have a 15-minute break so we can have a coffee and go to the bathroom.
In Consuegra, there, we will arrive at Cerro Calderico, where we will find the Magic Mills of Miguel de Cervantes, a set of 12 whitewashed mills, built in the 19th century. 12 mills running through the skyline of Cerro Calorrico. Sancho, Rucio, Espartero, etc. Itinerary 10 : 00 to 11 : 30 Madrid to Consuegra 11 : 30 to 11 : 45 Cafeteria "Bathrooms" 12 : 00 to 14 : 00 Touring the Mills of Quixote de la Mancha and explaining their stories literary account of each of the mills.
Upon arriving in Toledo we will walk for approximately 20 minutes, where we will see a beautiful view of the Alcantara Bridge and we will cross it until we reach the Plaza de Zocodover and from there to the restaurant. However, if the weather is bad on the day of the tour, you will not cross the Alcantara bridge. 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Consuegra trip to Toledo 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Walk to the restaurant through Toledo

After having the 2 hours free to visit Toledo on your own, we will meet at the meeting point and we will go to the wonderful Mirador del Valle in Toledo, where we will find one of the most beautiful panoramic views. We arrive at our meeting point in Madrid At the end of the wonderful experience you will receive by mail some unique photographs of your experience, which will become part of your life and the beautiful memories of this experience. This tour was a neat way to spend a day outside of Madrid. Aside from the windmills' incredible views and Don Quixote connection was beautiful Toledo: from Mirador del Valle - a lookout over the entire city nestled in the hills with the river below - to unstructured time at the historic synagogue and monastery. Our guide, Miguel Ángel, was also not only super knowledgeable about Quixote lore, but warm and accommodating. He took our group's photos, ate with us in a local town before heading up to the windmills, and before the tour even took place, offered to reschedule when it seemed it wouldn't fill up in time. Don't miss out on this tour's cool blend of history and beauty!
This was an amazing and educational experience. Our driver, Alex, had a ton of knowledge about the mills of Quixote; the countryside around, and the city of Toledo. Having several hours to wander the city on our own, after a great set of stops, is my ideal way to do a tour like this. I would absolutely book this or any of Alex’s other tours in a heartbeat.

Well-organized excursion, you don't feel pressured for time, they contact you before the day and send you information, and then the guide completes it, in our case Miguel Ángel, very attentive and helpful, as well as kind. Miguel Angel led, the best tour experience I have ever been part. Every detail was carefully taken care of from transportation, communication control, and cleanness. We were his top priority his management of time allowed us to visit every part of the tour ask questions take pictures and learn from the history of Spain.. The experience was very good, the guide Miguel Ángel was excellent, very kind, attentive, and was on top of things at all times. Having a more private tour helps to maximize time and be able to pay more attention to the guide and ask questions

This was such a memorable day! We started in Consuegra and toured La Mancha’s Windmills. The stories were fascinating and the views beautiful. We then went on to Toledo to discover these treasures sites and vistas. Miguel, our guide was wonderfully knowledgeable, patient and great with photos. So very glad we booked this tour!

Great tour. Small group of 7 in a new van that had air conditioning and USBC plugs. The agency sent an itinerary the night before with clear meetup instructions. Miguel was a good guide who made extra effort to get good pictures we otherwise would not had taken. I’d prefer less time at the cafe before the windmills so we could have more time in Toledo but it was a nice day. He gave lots of information about the windmills. We got back to Madrid by 6:50pm and had an hour to get free entry into the Prado
