Itinerary
San Sebastian Castle is one of the most unique fortresses in Cadiz, built on an ancient islet linked to the city by a road that disappears and reappears with the tides. For centuries it was a key part of the defensive system of Cadiz, protecting the entrance of the bay from pirates, enemy fleets and the force of the Atlantic. On this visit we will walk along its walls and discover the history hidden behind its gates: the origin of the castle in 1707, its defense systems, the ancient guard corps, artillery, the great Armstrong guns, the dungeons and the mysterious chapel. We will also learn about the relationship of the castle with the visit of Elizabeth II, the evolution of its lighthouses and the importance of this place for navigators from the Phoenician era to the present day. An experience that blends history, architecture, legends and spectacular views of the ocean from one of the most magical corners of Cadiz.

Impressive visit, where they clarified the origin, history, and anecdotes of these defensive fortresses for us. It was a very pleasant and productive time, which I recommend to all visitors and even natives of Cadiz. You will not regret it.
Very pleasant and well explained. Super Punctual, a success. It is worth learning about the history of the castle. Thank you Javier, I hope everything goes very well for you and your brother.
We loved the visit to the castle with Javier as our guide. He was very attentive and kind and told us a lot of details about the area. I hope that he and his brother do many more tours in Cádiz and that they have the success they deserve.
A great sightseeing tour, very good explanations, punctual and friendly guides. 100% recommended
Excellent guided tour, seeing the northern part of Cádiz, Alameda, Carmen church and bastion, with great historical precision but enjoyable. It felt short

I loved this tour. It was an excellent way to get to know my city at the hands of some guides in love with its history. Totally recommended.
I loved the tour, a serious and responsible service, they were very punctual and it is clear that they prepared things well, they answered several questions during the trip and even when it finished they also stayed for a while, they are very approachable people.
We went as a family, we had a great afternoon, we learned and enjoyed the surroundings, the views. Thanks to Joaquín, passionate about his work and the history of his city, who conveyed his love for the privileged surroundings of our Cádiz, and a lot of curiosities that delighted the group. We wish you the best of luck and, of course, we will repeat with another tour to continue discovering the three-thousand-year-old city.
