Tour of the Archeological Park
Description
We will discover together the beauty of the archeological park of Syracuse,area where i grew up following my father on his Tours ( he is a tour guide too). We will visit the largest greek Theatre of Sicily, the biggest sacrificial altar of the greek period, a Roman amphitheatre and a huge stone quarries. Inside the quarry we will enter inside the famous Grotto called the Hear of Dyonisus famous for its properties to amplify the voices. I look forward to showing you the wonders of Syracuse.

We were fortunate that our guide, Letizia, was enthusiastic and had endless information and anecdotes. He visited us in Spanish. If we had known about the other activities it has (gastronomy, visit to Ortigia, cooking courses, gastronomic walks...) we would have selected them. Certainly, highly recommended.
Letizia was an incredible guide. She was knowledgeable and went above and beyond. We spent our morning with Letizia for the Archeological tour and then our afternoon with Letizia enjoying a city and food tour. Our group ranged from ages 13 to 67 and all 4 of us agreed our day with Letizia was our favorite of our 10-day trip around Italy and Greece.
We did the morning on a food and culture tour and then did an afternoon at the archeological park. Fascinating area and Letizia made it come alive. She knows Siracusa like the back of her hand.
