We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Ortigia. We booked the 1 hour tour online with trip advisor just 1 day before. Directions to the boarding point were clear and the operator had our names recorded . Sandro was a very friendly and helpful guide, translating information to English using his phone. We found this tour great value for money.
Sandro is great. Although the explanation was only in English or Italian, he translated everything into French with his phone. That was very kind. Great boat trip and we go into the caves
Roberto was an excellent skipper and looked after us immaculately! We saw some caves and swam in the most lovely warm sea with loads of fish to see! We enjoyed the boat late in the day and the sunset was stunning. We also learned some things about Ortigia…
An unforgettable experience, totally recommended if you pass through Syracuse (island of Ortigia). The captain of the boat SANDRO is the most special, kind, generous, good, professional, and fun person I have encountered in this type of activity. He moved us and made us cry with his words and professionalism! Spain will be your home, SANDRO. Keep it up. Thanks Mile.
A truly super experience, with a northeasterly wind that cheered our excursion, an exciting swim offshore, an evocative tour of the caves, all accompanied by the skill, kindness, and cordiality of the staff on board and on land. Highly recommended!!!
Our tour guide was super nice and explained everything to us in good English. Otherwise, everyone else was also super nice.
Had a wonderful time. A fantastic way to see the city of Ortigia. The caves were awesome and the swim was refreshing!
Roberto was our guide, and we truly loved the personal and professional treatment.
We spent a wonderful afternoon with Dolphin Excursions Rental, and much of the credit goes to the legendary Salvatore. A true Syracusan, born and raised here, with a life spent at sea and a knowledge of this coast that only those who have always lived it can have. He didn't just take us to spectacular places. He told us the history, traditions, and many interesting facts about Syracuse and Ortigia. The boat is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The music was perfect, the atmosphere relaxed, and the many chats with Salvatore made the day even more special. More than an excursion, it felt like spending a day on a boat with a friend. The thing we really appreciated is the respect that Salvatore has for his sea and for the people he brings on the boat with him. It is not one of those tours that does anything just to please tourists, even when it means not respecting nature or doing things that should not be done. With him, we always felt completely safe. His priority is to let you have an authentic experience, in full respect of the sea and those who live it every day. An authentic, real experience, far from mass tourism. How lucky to have found them by chance. Heartfelt thanks!
Great experience on the one hour boat tour! Excellent value for money- it was cheaper than other tours when we booked, and it was fantastic!
