This full-day tour from Warsaw takes you to Wolf’s Lair (Wolfsschanze), Adolf Hitler’s most important World War II headquarters, hidden in the forests of northeastern Poland. The bunker complex served as the center of Nazi military planning and was the site of the failed Operation Valkyrie assassination attempt in 1944.
Travel comfortably from Warsaw with an English-speaking guide-driver who provides historical background on Nazi Germany, World War II, and Poland under occupation. At the site, explore massive concrete bunkers, command buildings, and former security zones spread across forested terrain.
The tour includes Zones I and II. Zone I, now a museum area, features the Führer’s bunker and key facilities, visited with guided commentary or an audioguide. Zone II remains largely abandoned, offering a raw and atmospheric perspective. After an optional lunch break, return to Warsaw in the evening.

Wonderful Day
This tour was awesome. The tour was very well organized; we were able to see more than the object of our tour. The guide was really knowledgeable and helped me understand the subject matter. He made the tour enjoyable. Overall, the tour was well worth the money we paid for it.

Best 12 hours spent.
Jacob was excellent. Very knowledgeable. Worth every penny to have a guide with so much knowledge to explain everything and bring it all into perspective.
I would highly recommend this tour.

Wolf's Lair visit - not to be missed!
This was an excellent tour, with a door-to-door service and prompt pick up. Although it is a long drive from Warsaw to the Wolf's Lair (and back), time flew by for us because Marcin, our driver, discussed with us World War 2 and its effect on Poland and indeed, the resultant effects it had on post-war Poland. He took all of our questions and gave full answers to them. Both Marcin and the guide we had for the Wolf's Lair tour itself were extremely knowledgeable, personable and they spoke fluent English. The Wolf's Lair site itself is, quite simply, awesome in its scale and a true testament to the megalomania of the Nazi regime. The museum has historical artefacts (archeologists are still finding items at the site) and there is a restaurant too. This tour makes for a long day, but it is a day very well spent, and one you will not forget!

Long day- worth it!
It was a long ride, but so worth it ! Jack met us on time and was a great driver and host. His knowledge and love of history kept us engaged. He is also a native of Warsaw, which was wonderful as so many guides are from different countries than the tours they lead. We could ask to stop any time we wished. At the Wolf Lair, we were handed over to a local guide, she was fabulous! We spent approximately 2 hours walking and exploring. Afterwards, I felt a little odd having walked in the same places as such men in history. We had a nice late lunch at the restaurant and then headed to a surprise visit to Lindedorf (not correct spelling) manor house on the lake. It is in the process of restoration, but the stories and connections to Wolf Lair were interesting. The little marina area was cute. Overall, definitely worth the time and expense! Thanks again to Jack for a great day.

a great day trip.
We had a wonderful day with our guide Jaceyk. It was a lot of driving from Warsaw to Hitler’s Wolflair, but we learned so much about Polish history and culture, and saw so much beautiful Polish countryside. It was well worth it. At the wolfs lair we had a local guide who was both friendly and very informative. highly recommend this tour.

Awesome experience!
Marcin picked us up from the hotel, and we chatted with him the entire way to the Wolf’s Lair — a great opportunity to make the most of the trip and learn about local history and politics. The site is very well preserved, and it’s clear they keep making improvements to enhance the visitor experience, which makes it highly recommended. The restaurant on-site is also excellent, with delicious traditional food and a wide selection of local beers. Definitely a highly recommended experience. Thanks for everything Marcin, you nailed it!

Excellent experience!
Excellent experience. We were lucky to have Konrad as our guide. He picked us up on time and was very helpful. We had great conversation on our 2 hour drive to Wolf's Lair. Our guide in Wolf's Lair (can't remeber her name) but she was amazing. She spent so much time with us explaining in great detail.

Amazing trip from start to finish
Tom was punctual on pick up and immediately had a history & background for our hotel as it was also the anniversary of the WW 2 invasion of Poland. The drive thru the Polish countryside was beautiful as well as filled with historical information. He always took our comfort into consideration. The guide at Wolf’s Lair was just as knowledgeable & completed a perfect visit. Followed by a delicious Polish lunch, as we requested, we returned to Warsaw happy after a perfect day!
