This is the the palace which was built in 1461 and used until 1850s as the residental and parliment house of the empire. The logest palace used by the Ottoman empire. The palace is devided in two sectios as Harem and Selamlık. Selamlık the men and Harem the female section ofthe palace. Your guide will take you inside with the skipping line priorty and will share the history and the stories about the Sultans and his concubines, the polictics, the high and the low period of the empire.
This is the oldest church built in Istanbul in 4 century A.D.The only church which wasn't converted to a mosque but used as the arsenal of the janiseries ( the guards of the palace). Later used as the first archeology museum of Ottoman Empire and now a museum.

Our guide Omer made this tour truly special for us. He was very knowledgeable, gave us not only historical facts, but interesting stories related to the tour. He was kind, patient and friendly. We learned so much from him. The palace is huge, and for the best experience, I recommend taking a guided tour. If you can request Omer, you will be in good hands.

Our experience honestly couldn’t have been better! Omer guided us through Topkapi Palace, the Harem, the Eunuch’s quarters, and Hagia Irene. As history buffs, we were completely drawn in by how much he knew and the way he shared it. He didn’t just list facts, he told stories, added context and details, and made everything so much more interesting. His sense of humor and easygoing personality made the whole tour even more enjoyable. We could tell Omer is someone who genuinely loves what he does. We loved everything about Topkapi Palace and felt this tour was worth every penny.
