Itinerary
Senso-ji, Tokyo's oldest and most iconic temple, is the heart of Asakusa. With over 1,300 years of history, it offers a glimpse into Japan's rich cultural heritage. Stroll through Nakamise-dori, filled with traditional shops and snacks, and explore the vibrant temple grounds. We'll also take a walk along Kappa-bashi-dori, where you can experience local life in Tokyo.
Nestled in a lush forest, Meiji Shrine offers a peaceful escape in the middle of Tokyo. Dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken, this shrine is a blend of spiritual tranquility and historical significance. After visiting the shrine, we'll head to Harajuku's Takeshita Street, a hub of youth culture and vibrant fashion.
Takeshita Street is the heart of youth culture in Tokyo, known for its vibrant, pop-up shops and quirky fashion. Just a short walk away, Omotesando is a hub for high-end fashion, attracting trendsetters from all over. Both streets showcase the ever-evolving fashion scene in Japan.
Experience the energy of Shibuya at the world-famous Scramble Crossing, where Tokyo’s urban life is on full display. Visit the iconic Hachiko Statue and explore Shibuya Center Street, a hotspot for shopping and street food. Shibuya offers a perfect mix of tradition and modernity.
The Tsukiji Fish Market, once Japan's largest wholesale fish market, remains a popular destination even after moving to Toyosu. The old market area is still bustling with shops offering delicious seafood, making it a must-visit for food lovers.

Our guide did not show up. I called Viator and they were unable to talk with anyone on the contract. They offered us a full refund. The agent on the phone was helpful. The net experience was very disappointing. I won't trust Viator again with a vacation day.
This was a horrible experience. We had a guide that gave us no information on the sites we were visiting. We went to a fish market, and he lost my friend. He has 2 people to watch and he losses one for 1/2 hour in in the fish market. She was very traumatized. First day in Tokyo, lost in a fish market and you can't speak the language for 1/2 hour. Plus, he did not add 1/2 hour to our tour, and he didn't really care she got lost. He was more concerned about his phone then having us enjoy our 1st day in Tokyo. Also, read the fine print because you pay for taxi's, lunch or any entry fees. At least another $100. That is ok if you actually have a real tour guide, someone that instructed taxi's where to take us in the city is not what we expected. On my 18-day tour through Japan he was the worst tour guide. Pick another company.
Kenzo was very gentle, helpful and supported us flexibly to adapt our programme to our interest and the constraints of the weather.
Haru was very knowledgeable, friendly, and considerate. My husband and I had a wonderful time. We highly recommend taking the private tour.

This private tour was absolutely fantastic! Our guide Yuakako tailored the experience to our interests, taking us not only to famous landmarks but also to local spots that truly captured the essence of Tokyo. She even helped us take some great photos, making it an unforgettable experience. I would definitely book again!
