It’s a beautiful building well kept. Restrooms clean. Be ready to walk. I had a great day. The second floor where the gems are was the best.

Beautiful museum, lots to see. Give yourself couple hours to enjoy and not be rushed. A must do when visiting Chicago!
The collection they have of animal species is unprecedented most amazing display I’ve ever seen plus they made them look so life like not just on display but in real life scenes that just made you forget you were at a museum
Extensive & interesting displays
We came to Chicago for the Pokemon Fossil Exhibit at The Field Museum (which our son loved). The museum itself is quite impressive - I like it better than the NY Natural History Museum. They have free tours during the day. We jumped on a tour of the Dinosaur Exhibition area and it was great. Highly recommend as a don't miss spot.
I was there mainly for Pokemon Fossil, but I check other are of museums to and find out there a lot to learn there . Indian are was real good thing learn about there . The stone where very thing to see and Fossil where very good to and more other things there to .
This a nice natural history museum housed in a beautiful building. The only drawback is that a lot of artifacts are missing and exhibits are being reworked leaving blank spaces in the Native American and Egyptian sections. While understandable, a new approach to redoing an exhibit is needed so visitors won’t be disappointed. The dinosaur section is top notch, especially Sue. A full 4-5 hours are needed to see everything
At first I was skeptical on whether I would enjoy this experience. But the amount of incredible things to see left me very satisfied. Sue the TRex was the cherry on top in this whole experience!
Great museum. Good variety of exhibits
Enjoyable afternoon and good variety of exhibits.
