Come raise a glass with us on a historical pub crawl that shares the untold stories of how drinking shaped Annapolis, Maryland, and the nation itself. At each stop, we’ll dive into a different era— paired with a recommended drink that was the rage at the time. We will dive into the colonial rum obsession, Maryland’s rich whiskey distilling roots, and the bold few who treated Prohibition like a suggestion, not a law. We will roughly be at each pub for 30 minutes and will pass by some of Annapolis' most iconic places like the State House, Ego Alley and Main Street. Join us to toast the past, enjoy the present, and experience history with a tipsy twist.

Ryan’s tour is the best. A unique historical perspective on the Town of Annapolis from a drinking perspective. An important part of American History. It’s a great walking happy hour. Don’t miss it!

Went on this tour on 21 July. Got to learn so much on this tour. Highly recommended for anyone visiting. I think it lasted around 2-3 hours. There was 3 of us, and 3 of another party, who we ended up going to other bars after the tour ended. I would do it again.
Fun evening filled with great stories and theme based cocktails. Easy stroll through downtown Annapolis made for an enjoyable evening. Definitely recommend even if you’re a local!
What a fun and interesting evening! We learned so much about the history and evolution of spirits and cocktails in the Maryland area, and got to taste some drinks that I had never had before. Super informative and our guide was a pleasure. Do yourself a favor and spend an evening doing the Tipsy History Tour! Non alcoholic drinks are available if you’re in for the history but want that option. There is some walking from pub to pub but it was very easy.
