The cruise was very nice, music and speaker very nice. the 4 course dinner we were not happy with at all.salad was good .main course stuffed pepper was over cooked to the point of crunchy on top. desert was very good.
First time 1000 island lunch cruise Beautiful lake and georgues houses and Island Star was beautiful experience WOW food and service almost 5 star restaurant Kudos Ryan was great server and singing
Unless you pay the extra 75.00 to have a window seat you will feel like a 3rd class guest. You wait for your meal until ALL window seats are served, along with getting their drink orders. Enjoying their meal and drinks while others wait at least 45 minutes . ONE Waitress serving. There should have been at least five or six. Food was OKAY ! Served supposedly roasted carrots. Didn't touch them too hard to even cut with the only knife available which was a bread knife. Entertainment was ????. Commentator was great along with the beautiful sunset. SAVE your money and just take a regular tour.. Definitely not worth your money or your time. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
This was much better than we expected. The service when it came to drinks and dinner was very efficient - and the food was good. The man doing the guiding had just the right amount of fun facts and information - (he didn't talk too much or too loud). He also did the entertainment (singing) at a very suitable volum. I really loved it. The view of the island were nice and we were lucky to have a beautiful sunset.
Well organized supper was delicious and you get to hear the singing Captain on way back to pier.. a must do adventure
My husband and I had a lovely time on board. There was a wine tasting with a fruit and cheese board waiting for us when we got to our table. We paid extra to have a window seat, which I fully recommend. The tour guide/musician was interesting and provided very relaxing background music during dinner. The whole staff was very friendly and efficient, especially Julia! So fun and friendly! The food was ok. Cheese board - delightful. Chicken dinner tasted great, but was served cold. Red snapper - the fish was good and hot but the rice and beans were bland and cold. They ran out of bruschetta so we were given garlic toast on the house as an apology - and it was DELICIOUS! The cheesecake was melt in your mouth tasty without being overly sweet. We didn’t say anything to the staff about the food. To be honest we were having such a good time, it really didn’t matter all that much to us. Would we go again - absolutely!!
The staff were great, music was good, food was ok but some of the main course was cold.
Too crowded, narrow place to sit even for someone who is from Hong Kong.
An unforgettable experience! Everything was sensational. I suggest this activity to everyone (except perhaps young children who would find sitting for 3 hours tedious).
Our dinner cruise included music from The British Invasion Era! The band had pretty much everyone on board sing, and most of us sat at our tables dancing in our seats! A three course meal was provided, assigned seating. Booking online with extra fee will provide you with a window and relish plate. Beverages are extra, coffee, tea are not included with your meal. The servers are kind and friendly. The sunset was stunning, and seeing the island and the century cottages were a sight to definitely see! Thank you Captain Mel for keeping us between the markers. We were lucky, there was rain but only during dinner, and at the end as we reached the dock. My friend and I had a wonderful time!
