The Very Best of Rhodes

We had a great personal tour with Demetrius. He was our driver and guide and gave us great information about everything we saw on the tour. We had a wonderful authentic Greek lunch by the sea shore. He even provided us with cold bottled water. Would definitely recommend this tour and Demetrius to anyone. A personal tour is the only way to go!

Mike provided a wonderful, individualised private tour of Rhodes. He was there early to pick us up right from our cruise ship. He shared a depth of knowledge about the places we visited. We loved our visit to Rhodes and got to see a great amount in the time we were there. It was more economical for the 2 of us to do this private tour with Mike than it would have been for us to go on a group shore excursion from the ship. The day was relaxed, and Mike made it all easy. We loved Rhodes.

It is great doing a private tour and George was amazing! If you are cautious about doing it, don't be! You are guaranteed to be back on the ship and it's so much better than group excursions for about the same price! I would 100% do it again!

By the time we took this tour, we had seen several islands and historical sites on the mainland. Our driver was helpful in tailoring our tour to spend more time in the unique sites (Palace of the Grand Master) and less on the archeological sites. Since we wanted to swim, he called ahead at the lunch place and reserved us a beach bed and umbrella for no extra fee. We swam in the beautiful water while waiting for our food. It was a great experience.

We had a wonderful visit to Rhodes and Lindos, and Dimitrios made the day truly special for our family. This was a very nice, family-friendly tour, and we would highly recommend it. Dimitrios was an excellent driver and guide for the day. He made sure we were able to see everything we wanted to see, while also adding some amazing local stops that made the experience even better. Two of the highlights were a local handmade pottery maker and a family-owned olive farm stand and olive oil tasting location. Those might sound like small or simple stops, but they were absolutely amazing and ended up being some of our favorite parts of the day. He also went out of his way to help us see things that would not have been possible on a larger bus tour. One example was a short out-of-the-way trip so we could get a close-up view of St. Paul’s Cathedral. That kind of personal flexibility made a big difference and helped the day feel much more meaningful. Another highlight was lunch. Dimitrios found and made reservations for us at a local restaurant where we had the most amazing Greek salad and some excellent fresh seafood. It was exactly the kind of local meal we were hoping for, and we really appreciated him arranging it for us. For anyone visiting Rhodes or Lindos in late June or early July, be prepared: it is brutally hot this time of year. Bring electric fans, umbrellas for shade, sunscreen, and make sure you stay hydrated. Dimitrios always had cold water available for us, which was very much appreciated and very much needed. Overall, this was a fantastic tour and a great way to experience Rhodes and Lindos in a personal, comfortable, and family-friendly way. Dimitrios was kind, professional, flexible, and thoughtful throughout the entire day. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rhodes.

This is a fantastic tour of the beautiful island of Rhodes. Our guide Dimitris was so friendly and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful day exploring the island. Dimitris catered to our needs and was great with our 9 year old son. Do yourself a favor and book this tour.

We had a great time on this tour!!! A great value. Old town, the Lindos Acropolis, the countryside and a lovely meal at a uncrowded beach in a wonderful restaurant. Mike had great options for activities and places to see, he tailored our tour to us. He acutely aware of schedules, crowd levels, and transit times between places to see. This helped maximize our day as we went between places that potentially could have large crowds to places that were quieter. His knowledge of Rhodes and its long history, great food and lovely places to visit proved to be one of the best experiences on our visit to Europe. His well equipped vehicle and kind personality made the day seamless, relaxing and extremely enjoyable. When needed he gave us attention and input and when appropriate he let us be on our own for a bit. A great value! We would recommend taking a tour with Mike as you will feel welcomed and fulfilled by the end of your day.

We had a wonderful day with Christopher. He was so nice and informative and let us have a say in what we did for the day. We loved stopping at the ceramic shop. What masterpieces and the ability to have our purchases shipped home was wonderful. We felt no pressure to have to buy but the pieces were so amazing we just had to. Due to having some additional time, we also had a chance to meet Niko and experience some olive oil tasting and learn so much from him. Acropolis Lindos was so beautiful. Bring good and sturdy walking shoes as there are some steep areas and slippery stones going up but the view is amazing. Thanks for a wonderful day Christopher!
