Itinerary
This is where we start the walking tour at the top of Aliados.
We descend Aliados, Porto's largest avenue.
Known for its long queues, Livraria Lello is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. The entrance is paid and the waiting time extensive so we do not enter this space.
Right next to the narrowest house in Porto, this church stands side by side with the Igreja dos Carmelitas.
Porto's university life is vibrant and we have plenty to share about urban legends, centenary cafes and strange rituals.
Commonly known as the Jardim da Cordoaria, this haunting garden is a special place to Porto's inhabitants.
The Portuguese Photography Centre is located in the former Porto prison and now houses a large part of the country's photographic heritage. We will not go inside it during our tour.
Nasoni's creation stands above everything else in the city and it's probably Porto's most photographed monument next to the bridge.
Located in the old jewish quarters, the Vitória viewpoint has one of the most beautiful views to the city.
One of Porto's most charismatic streets, Rua das Flores was once known for its jewellery shops.
One of the most beautiful train stations in the world.
The place where Porto begun to exist, at the top of Morro da Pena Ventosa, the cathedral holds many stories and anecdotes to share. We will not go inside the cathedral.
We will mention this beautiful bridge from afar when the opportunity comes.

Diogo was a great tour guide, very entertaining, had a passion for Porto and shared helpful information
Tiago was excellent . He answered all our questions with patience and calm. He gave us tips for food and drinks as well as other activities to do in Porto.👍
What a wonderful way to experience Porto! Diogo was an incredibly warm, funny, and engaging guide who brought the city’s history to life without ever making it feel like a lesson. He shared fascinating stories about the sights, the people, and the design that make up Porto, giving us a much deeper appreciation for the city and its character. His humor and storytelling made the tour genuinely fun, and his passion for Porto was infectious. We left feeling like we hadn’t just seen the city, but truly understood it better. We’d absolutely recommend Diogo to anyone wanting to experience Porto with someone who knows, loves, and brings the city to life!
Awesome tour with Sara on 11th August 2026. She provided a lot of information in a way which, unlike other tour guides we recently experienced, never became fatiguing. She also provided us an E-mail with links to many of those locations and some restaurant recommendations. The day after our tour with her, we visited many of the places she had mentioned - and saw her and gave her a wave, which she returned. Highly recommend doing this tour on your first day so you can orient yourself to the city and choose where you might spend time on subsequent days.
Daniel was a brilliant and personable tour guide. We really enjoyed our tour and his knowledge of the city.
The route was wonderful. The guide, La Pérez, who introduced us to part of the city, is highly recommended. The presentation was very well-documented and very enjoyable.
Adriano is a legend!!! We loved doing the tour with him, his approachability, his great knowledge from being from Porto of the history and the enjoyable way of telling everything made the more than 2.5h we spent with him seem short! A thousand thanks Adriano, see you soon! And even more the recommendations!
Spectacular guide, 100% recommended
