The Rocky Mountain National Park Safari Tour

Description
Let our experienced local guides bring the wonders of Rocky Mountain National Park to life with engaging stories and expert insights from start to finish. Your journey begins in historic downtown Estes Park, at an elevation of 7,500 feet, and winds through lush meadows, shimmering rivers, aspen groves, and alpine lakes. In summer and fall, we venture into the alpine tundra above 12,000 feet, traveling the historic Old Fall River Road (accessible after July 4) and the scenic heights of Trail Ridge Road (weather permitting). There will be multiple stops along the way up to the Alpine Visitor Center and stops along the way back down. If conditions prevent access to certain areas, don’t worry—we’ll explore equally stunning parts of the park to ensure an incredible experience. Ride in comfort in our iconic Green Jeeps, which seat up to 10 guests. For larger groups, we’ll divide you across multiple vehicles to keep the adventure personal and connected.

Reconstructed in 2020, the trail to the Alluvial Fan was designed to be fully accessible. From the west, this path meanders up to a 56-foot bridge crossing the Roaring River, offering access to the east side of the Alluvial Fan. Hikers of all abilities can enjoy breathtaking views of the Mummy Range, Horseshoe Falls, and Endovalley." -NPS

Amazing time with Colton at the wheel. He was informative and fun. The sights were incredible and the time flew by. Don’t let a little rain scare you away. GJ is prepared. We highly recommend Green Jeep and Colton.
Great views and lots of elk. Roads were pretty rough but a fun experience
Great way to see the park, you never know how many animals you’ll see on any given day, we saw quite a few.
My family and I did the Not So Mellow Marshmallow guide with Brandon and Maddie. We had a blast! It was the perfect end to our vacation.
Great tour, our guide was very knowledgeable and we saw a nice variety of wildlife including a huge Bull Moose. Would highly recommend Green Jeep Tours and ask for Jerry.
We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your tour and that you left us a five star review. Seeing a bull moose isn't always the easiest animal to find so we are happy that you got to have that experience with us. Thank you for choosing Green Jeep Tours.
The green jeep tour was fun. It was a tad bit pricey for what you can do in your own car for much cheaper. Dan, our guide, made it a good trip. There is a heater in the back of the jeep and blankets provided for when we reached the top and dropped over 20°! Rocky Mountain National Park is just beautiful!
I was a little cautious about the value of a tour to a park I am somewhat acquainted with… however it was wonderful not having to drive and being able to take the wonders of the park. I loved the open top Jeep. I also loved having Dan, our tour guide as a resource pointing out interesting facts and details. I felt like I was seen and appreciating the park again for the first time.I also appreciated the pacing and stops. Bottom line: it was a great trip. Well worth the money.
This was the first time to experience, Estes Park, Colorado never been here. Me and my wife had such a fantastic time, this was an unbelievable experience! I highly recommend this trip. Our tour guide Albert was incredibly knowledgeable of the area and a great driver just a wonderful experience very professional! Loved it!!!
We had a wonderful, knowledgeable guide. We considered doing the drive by ourselves but so glad we didn’t. He was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the plant life that we asked about. Helpful getting in and out of the jeep. He pointed out a moose, deer and other wildlife we never would have gotten our eye on. You can tell he loves the area and makes the experience good for flatlanders. Heartily recommend James. The jeep hold about 8 people so it is a small group.
