The first stop at a viewpoint will allow us to enjoy impressive views of the Caldera de Tirajana.
We will begin the day by visiting this charming town of white houses among palm trees, which has a long history associated with olive cultivation and beekeeping. There you can learn some of the stories about the ancient inhabitants of the area that are still latent in its streets and people. In addition, we will visit a business in the village where you can find KM 0 products and wonderful handicrafts to buy as souvenirs.
We will go to La Fortaleza, one of the last places where the ancient inhabitants of the island were located. This enclave of connection between heaven and earth will make you connect with the aboriginal culture, and it will be like a trip back in time.
You will enjoy a tasting of the typical gastronomy of the island prepared by a local restaurant.
This will be the time to go on a small picturesque walk through one of the narrowest ravines in Gran Canaria, where the erosion of the water that once ran through it leaves us with indelible images to remember.
End your day with a relaxing stop at Playa de Arinaga, an authentic Canarian coastal town free from the usual tourist crowds. Here, you’ll have the chance to unwind, take a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters and soak up the local atmosphere. It’s the perfect end to a day filled with adventure and discovery.

If you forgot to include this information, send it to us as soon as possible so we can assign your pick-up time. In areas with heavy traffic, especially in the capital, we may propose a nearby pickup point to the hotel to improve accessibility and punctuality. Pick-up Time Confirmation: The day before the activity, we will contact you between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM via email, WhatsApp, SMS or phone to confirm your exact pick-up time. Changes or Delays: If you need to change your pick-up point or are delayed, call us at (+34) 611 518 815 Communication Limitations: If you will not be reachable on the activity day, inform us in advance via email, WhatsApp, SMS or phone call. ⏳ Be Ready: Arrive at your pick-up point 15 minutes before the scheduled time, visible and prepared. ⏱️ Timing Variation: Pick-up may be delayed by up to 20 minutes due to traffic or other circumstances. Full-Day Excursion: Lasts between 8 to 10 hours, including 6 hours for the main activity and 2 to 4 hours for round-trip transportation, depending on the pickup location. Return Timing: Return times may vary due to reasons beyond Climbo's control. Climbo is not responsible for delays in passenger drop-offs.

- The hike to La Fortaleza de Ansite is a 650-meter trail with a 40-meter elevation gain, featuring uneven terrain and a short elevated section, which can be bypassed if needed; the entire route takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, including two light walks into the ravine under 1 km each.
- Restrooms are available at Santa Lucía de Tirajana, La Caldera Restaurant, and in Arinaga, where you can also purchase snacks or local products; no restrooms are available at La Fortaleza or Barranco de Las Vacas.
- All tours are led by certified professional guides, ensuring a safe and knowledgeable experience throughout the activity.
- The activity is limited to groups of 20 people, allowing participants to share a vibrant group dynamic and enjoy the hike together.
- Weather conditions can vary, so it’s recommended to wear layered clothing; the guide may modify the activity based on weather, terrain, or participant needs.
- The route includes winding roads, so those prone to motion sickness should consider bringing appropriate medication
- Children under 12 must meet the minimum recommended age of 5 years, and parents or guardians are required to accompany minors; a maximum of 4 child spots are available per tour, and special seating requests must be made 2 days in advance.
- Sandals, strollers, drones, alcohol, drugs, and aerosols are not allowed, and participants are expected to respect the environment by using designated bins for waste and refraining from eating or drinking inside the vehicle.
- It is important to bring comfortable sportswear, hiking shoes, a backpack, sunscreen, raincoat, light food, 1.5 liters of water, and a swimsuit with a towel and spare dry clothes if you plan to swim at the last stop.

The perfect escape from daily stress highly professional staff and an incredibly relaxing atmosphere
We had a wonderful experience on this tour! Celeste and Stefano were very friendly, knowledgeable and engaging, sharing lots of interesting background information. Being a small group of just 15 made it feel relaxed and personal.

We think it was a very great experience!! We saw very much beautiful things and learnt very much about the history of Gran canaria. Our tour guide was Celeste , she was amazing! Celeste was the perfect guide for our Red Canyon day trip! She gave us plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and take pictures, while sharing her knowledge about the island with so much enthusiasm and passion that you genuinely wanted to keep listening. This day was very, very well thought out and an excellent experience. I felt very well taken care of. Because of this, I saw wonderful places and also many details about the history.
