The Other Side: Paranormal Theme Escape Room by Extreme Escape San Antonio

What a chaotic experience. I booked in person two weeks in advance after completing the Zero Society room. I was told I would not need to fill out a waiver again (2 weeks ago). But Elijah made it mandatory I fill out another waiver before doing the room. Once we got in the room we were told it would take 15 seconds for responses for clue requests. The response time was actually 30 seconds to a minute. Since it took more that 15 seconds I pressed the button for clue requests several times which the game master was annoyed by. What bothered me about the response time was we actually had four game masters (Elijah, Ana, Marrisa, Emily) and the response was still slow. I won’t be going back there anymore. They play too much.

One of the best escape rooms we've done. Good theming, natural and logical puzzle flow, challenging but not impossible.

Maddie, Emily, Dez, and Ryan were awesome! Great experience. Love the theme. Just the right balance of difficulty and some helpful hints without spoiling anything or making it too easy.

So much fun! The rooms were challenging and made us think outside the box. Definitely recommend. The staff was great, very patient, knowledgeable and helpful.

We had so much fun! We even communicated with the workers through the TV! The only thing I didn’t like was that the worker never told me if they were free that night

We absolutely love this place! The rooms are awesome and so much fun! This room, in particular, gave us a Stranger Things vibe which we all enjoyed. Shout out to their amazing staff, Ash, Sofia, and Royce, for making our experience a great one! We will be back.

This is the only escape room that my family and I have actually escaped, but that doesn’t mean it was easy. If it weren’t for some of the great tips we had gotten we wouldn’t have left the first room. However, challenging riddles weren’t the only great part of this experience. The room was incredibly designed, and the customer service was phenomenal! Ben (one of the workers) gave us a puzzle to solve while we waited for room to be ready- which we didn’t solve- and treated us with the upmost respect. Overall, this escape room couldn’t be described as anything less than amazing, definitely worth the money! And a special thanks to: Ben, Liz, Erika, and Brannan for making this experience an amazing one!
