We had a really nice time with Theresa as the host of our food tour. She was obviously from Stockholm and had a real passion for the food she was introducing us to. The variety was good, including venison, meatballs (obviously), traditional fish dishes, licorice and finally cinnamon rolls and coffee. The first 80% of the tour is concentrated in 2 upscale food halls and the final stop is in the old town. We finished feeling satisfied but not stuffed.
Theresa will be pleased to see this, Walter. Good to hear the Stockholm route gave you a clear range of tastes - venison, meatballs, fish, licorice, cinnamon rolls and coffee - and that you finished satisfied without it feeling too heavy. Best, Peter
Great tour ,leader fantastic ,great food selection walking ,totally worth it .Only problem I bought some expensive jam and was told it would get through customs .The idiots at customs would let me through .
Thank you, Michael. I am glad the guide and food selection made the Stockholm tour feel worth it. Sorry to hear about the jam at customs - that part is sadly outside our hands, but I understand the frustration. Best, Peter
The tour was exceptional. At eachs stop we tried different foods and learnt new things about the city and its culture. The guide was exceptional and also dealt with my dietary preferences very well which ensured I did not miss out on any of the stops. As a solo traveller I felt very welcome by the group . Along with the food there was matching refreshments which helped on a warm day.
Thank you, Elaine. I am glad the tour gave you both different foods and a better sense of the city and its culture. It is also good to hear that your dietary preferences were handled well, and that you felt welcome as a solo traveller. Best, Peter
Sampled lots of local delicacies while exploring Stockholm on foot. Fantastic experience and our guide was very knowledgeable.

Tracy, thank you for this. Good to hear the Stockholm tour was a good way to spend the afternoon. Best, Peter
If you are visiting Stockholm, you need to take a tour with Cotton! He was outstanding, warm, and highly informative. My wife and I loved the deep dive into Swedish culture, food, wine, and beer. It was an incredible educational experience that left us inspired to come back and explore even more. We highly recommend this tour. You must request Cotton!
Tom, Cotton will be very happy to read this. Good to hear the Swedish food, culture, wine and beer made the tour feel both warm and informative. Best, Peter
Our guide, Cotton, was extremely knowledgeable about the preparation and sourcing of all the foods we tasted. He also shared a lot about swedish customs. It was a fast paced tour because the 3 destinations were not close by and we had to arrive at each on time- probably a km apart. One destination was closed (Monday), but the shop keeper provided a lot of samples for us to have at the last spot. We had 18 in our group and when samples were provided people did not step aside after getting a sample, so it was a bit of a squeeze to reach past them. It would have been helpful if the guide reviewed a protocol to make this easier for all to enjoy. Bring your own napkins as it doesn't seem to be an automatic offering--maybe it's a cultural thing?
The meeting place is in front of the food hall, not the cafe listed in the Viator website The guide was very knowledgeable
Thanks, Denise. Good to hear the guide was knowledgeable and that you enjoyed the tour. We’ll also review the meeting-point wording on Viator so it is clearer. Best, Peter
Matt was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable about both the food and the city. Food choices were tasty, except perhaps the black licorice!! Highly recommend this tour
Matt will enjoy reading this. Good to hear the food and city stories worked well - black licorice is always the divisive one. Best, Peter
We have done food tours in various countries and this was one of the worst, even though it was rated highly. The first three tastings took place in a food hall, standing up, not sitting down and really getting any information about what we were eating or interaction with the other tour members. The tour guide seemed like she really did not want to be there and was very unapproachable and not attentive to the tour group or content. The food was minimal for the price we paid and not that good. Go to Mc Donald’s
