Friendly and experienced guide. I would only avoid cold winter days and gray skies to fully enjoy the place.
Interesting experience thanks to our guide, very prepared, friendly and disponibile.Visita definitely to do
Encouraged by the great reviews I was convinced to book the guided tour. I arrived earlier than the agreed time, but alas I waited for the guide at the wrong point and when they indicated what my guide was I joined the tour group already started. I took the liberty of asking for information and the guide answered me in a rude way so much so that I thought about leaving the group and continuing the visit on my own, but mistakenly, I then chose to stay in the group until the end of the tour.
Man's need to overcome death through artistic testimonies, power and seek in the past life lessons
An interesting and imposing cemetery, large and rich, definitely worth a visit. Even though the word “cemetery” might sound off-putting, it’s truly a place worth seeing. It doesn’t feel like a cemetery, more like an open‑air museum.
We visited this cemetery that amazed and filled us with amazement! It was a bit hot, but so interesting that then we didn’t feel the fatigue anymore!
Wonderful experience! We were inspired by a similar tour at Buenos Aires cemetery, so we had to see this one. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us many interesting stories. An absolute must-do in Milan.
The Monumental Cemetery Tour was fantastic! So impressive! The Mausoleums were INCREDIBLE! Lorella has been leading tours in the Cemetery for over 10 years, and she was sooo knowledgeable. She explained the Hall of Fame and how the wealthiest families bought spots and wanted to build their beautiful “homes to live in eternity” They hired artists and architects and the architecture and designs and sculptures are incredible…. The Compari Family’s Last Supper Sculpture over their mausoleum was our favorite. The Cemetery Entrance and Hall of Fame was built like a Palace (think Versailles with a huge courtyard in front) and Domed Palace. One of the Highlights of our trip!
Beautiful this experience of guided tour of the Monumental Cemetery of Milan. Two hours visit to see the most beautiful monuments of this open-air museum. The girl, Silvia, was very good at telling us stories and anecdotes that are part of this beautiful cemetery for the most famous Milanese. So hot, but so much information and so much curiosity!
