Absolutely magnificent. This is for everyone, including those who say they do not like classical music. Get there early as there are no assigned seats. We sat the the front row on the aisle. There was no one in front of us so this made the experience all the better. It was hot so not being surrounded by bodies also helped. In our two weeks im Italy, this was hands down the most memorable experience
The church setting was beautiful and pared with the skilled orchestra it made a really lovely evening. Though a little warm the entire event was amazing - and one of the best in my entire holiday.
The performance was excellent in an impressive church St Pieta. Tickets were ticked off at the door, and we were given a programme. The artists maunly on violins and they played many of the popular italian classical peices. The only issue was the heat in August and the church being just on the sea, meant it was very hot and humid. I would give the church seats a miss and set on the chairs, as they can be uncomfortable for long duration.
Get there very early. They over sell this event so family could not sit together. We were in the back in folding chairs they set up due to over booking. Very uncomfortable and even at 7 pm, church was SO hot.
Wonderful experience! Fabulous music and fabulous musicians. Some of the best I have ever heard. Great atmosphere in the church and perfect acoustics. Not to be missed!! 🎶😀
It is sweltering hot in the church. No air whatsoever moving. The music was lovely but people were leaving because it was so unpleasantly hot.
An amazing performance and great acoustics. Highly recommend adding this to your Venice itinerary. Suggest it for a pre-dinner event.
Incredible performance, would highly recommend but the church gets a bit hot, especially if you arrive early then it seems to get a bit cooler, still warm. The performers are excellent so it was worth the bit of discomfort
The performance was excellent! It is always a joy to listen to Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, and other violin pieces- especially meaningful in the very church he spent years teaching and composing hundreds of years ago!
