Itinerary

10 min

Begin at Waterfront Station, one of Vancouver's most iconic transit hubs and a historic landmark in its own right. Housed in a grand early-1900s heritage building on the edge of Gastown, it's the meeting point for the SkyTrain, SeaBus, West Coast Express, and buses — making it the perfect launch pad for exploring the city. With Gastown, Canada Place, and the waterfront all just steps away, it's both a practical starting point and a beautiful piece of Vancouver history.

15 min

From Waterfront Station, guests hop aboard the SeaBus for a scenic round-trip harbour crossing. This iconic passenger ferry glides across Burrard Inlet to Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver and back, offering sweeping views of the downtown skyline, the working harbour, and the North Shore mountains along the way. It's a relaxing, quintessentially Vancouver experience — and one of the best value sightseeing rides in the city.

45 min

Just steps from the SeaBus terminal, Lonsdale Quay Market is a lively waterfront public market and the perfect place to taste some local foods. Wander the bright, skylit halls filled with fresh food stalls, local vendors, and artisan shops,

45 min

Right next to Lonsdale Quay, The Shipyards District is a vibrant waterfront gathering place built on North Vancouver's historic industrial roots. We stroll the scenic promenade and visit some local restaurants, and take in stunning views across the harbour to the downtown skyline.

Learned and tasted so many things!

We had a fantastic experience on this food tour! It was our first food tour ever, and even though we live in the lower mainland and frequent North Vancouver, we learnt so much and got to discover so many amazing local businesses. Shout-out to our tour guide, Sean, who is very funny and knowledgeable. Thank you so much!

Operator response

We are so thrilled to hear you had a great time with Sean on our North Van tour :D

Kelsey and the tour were great

Absolutely loved this food tour and especially our guide Kelsey for our last full day in Vancouver and to discover North Vancouver. She was a delight-kind, extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, and made sure we were 100% taken care of and had a blast. Had no idea so many cool eateries and shops existed in this area. Thanks for a fantastic afternoon!

a great choice

Very easy to find meeting spot to begin our journey. Kelsey our guide was a great leader, very friendly and excellent communicator. She was very knowledgeable about some historical aspects of the places we visited. I was afraid I would go hungry with the portion sizes but it was sufficient over the time of the tour. The food were all amazing, I especially loved the pasta. Great size for the tour as well which made it pleasant enough to have conversations amongst each other.

Operator response

Thank you so much, Richard! We are happy to hear you had a good time :)

Fun Tour of North Vancouver

It’s a fun way to get into the North Vancouver neighborhood. Fair blend of history information and food stops. Would like to have had a couple more food stops to try. But the tour leaves you time to do your own exploring after the events ends.

Operator response

Thank you for the honest feedback, Steve! We appreciate it.
