Let's start your culinary journey with a classic Provençal aperitif! You will sip a refreshing glass of local wine while indulging in delicacies such as cheese, charcuterie or terrines, all depending on the availability of products that arrive every day from local producers!
Near the Marché Forville town market, where the locals run their errands and buy fresh ingredients to cook at home, you will try a slice of the famous pissaladière, a tasty and juicy onion tart with anchovies and olives. One of the most beloved snacks in town!
Boulevard de la Croisette is probably one of the most famous promenades in the world, a true symbol of French Riviera and its lifestyle. After a stroll here, where you will also pass by the famous Palais des Festivals, where the Cannes Film Festival takes place, you will have a seat in this beautiful local restaurant and try the dish of the day. We had an absolutely wonderful time with our guide, Vanessa. It was very hot. She was extremely flexible and expertly adjusted the tour to keep us cool and still show us lovely parts of Cannes while indulging in excellent wine, cheese, pasta, baked treats and ice cream.
very experienced and local guide named Vanessa took us on this walking in food tour on a very hot day in July. While walking to the various venues she gave us historical knowledge and talked about the area as well as the cuisine. Very outgoing and friendly as well as knowledgeable as she headed up a restaurant of her own a while back . Enjoyable and would never have gotten that look without this tour.

We loved all of the stops because they were small restaurants/spots we would’ve never thought to go in! We had a wine tasting, seafood, macaroons, more casual bites, etc. It was the perfect amount of time, food, and fun! I greatly enjoyed this food tour of Cannes! Vanessa, the guide, is clearly both knowledgeable and passionate about the area and its local cuisine. She took our group to 5 different locations for assorted tastings, all of which complemented each other so nicely. Along the way, she shared bits and pieces of information about local history. She also answered our group’s questions about a variety of topics, and effortlessly helped accommodate a variety of dietary needs and preferences within the group. I left the tour feeling like I had enjoyed an authentic experience, and that we had gone to places that in most cases I wouldn’t have figured out to visit on my own.
Vanessa was knowledgeable and vey friendly and nice. From wine and cheese to seafood and gelato and espresso - she covered it all. She showed us the highlights of Cannes as well. Treat yourself to this tour!
Vanessa was excellent as a former restaurateur she understands quality and each place was a taste of delight. We started with wine and cheese and then proceeded to the local market where we sampled delicious onion and olive bread and then onto to a seafood lunch. Followed by a few suite treats and espresso. There was something for everyone along with a great walk through Cannes must see areas. Just a wonderful afternoon! Thank you Vanessa!
