Itinerary
Formed over millions of years through tectonic uplift and erosion, the Qingshui Cliffs are one of Taiwan's most spectacular natural landmarks, stretching for over 20 kilometers along the east coast of Hualien.
Before exploring the park, visitors can learn about Taroko's unique geology, wildlife, Indigenous culture, and hiking trails through informative exhibits and short films.
Taroko Gorge is the heart of Taroko National Park and one of Taiwan's most spectacular natural wonders. Carved by the Liwu River over millions of years, the gorge is famous for its towering marble cliffs, deep canyons, and crystal-clear turquoise river. The time in Taroko George also includes traffic time.
To reach Xiangde Buddhist Temple, visitors cross the Xiangde Suspension Bridge and walk uphill through a scenic forest trail. Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful views of the marble cliffs, the river below, and the surrounding mountains.
Compared with the deeper hiking routes inside the national park, Wen Tianxiang Path is a relatively easy trail, making it suitable for visitors who want to experience the beauty of Taroko without a strenuous hike.
The name "Tabido" comes from the traditional language of the Truku Indigenous people, reflecting the deep connection between the local Indigenous culture and the land. Along the trail, visitors can learn more about the relationship between the Taroko people and the natural environment. After the trail, we will have a short stop at the famous Taroko Archway for 10 minutes.
Unlike many busy old streets in Taiwan, Xincheng old street offers a quieter and more authentic atmosphere, allowing visitors to experience the daily life and local culture of a traditional Hualien town.
Qixingtan Beach is a captivating coastal destination located in Taiwan, the beach features a crescent-shaped shoreline, white pebbles and unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean.
