Excellent food tour. Alex was knowledgeable and created a very enjoyable experience. Only issue was it was a Sunday and his usual bars were closed so no music in the venues. Still a great night. Thank you Alex
Enjoyed the tour, the food, wine and most of all Alex. He provided great discuusion of the region, the food and Sanitago. Highly recommend!!!
If you want a tour where you instantly feel like you belong, book this one! Alex is a charismatic, beautiful guide who made everyone feel welcome from the first minute. The meeting spot is easy to locate, and the ending point naturally brings the group together for a lovely walk back. Our group of solo travelers and an adult family hit it off so well that we kept the conversation going long after parting ways with Alex. Alex went above and beyond to keep things fun. He even sweetly swapped out my first-ever vermouth for a red wine when I realized it wasn't my thing.
Great food tour! Definitely recommend and Alex the guide was super helpful. Outside of the tour, he helped me on finding a place for the eclipse at short notice. The food tour was great, he knows the best places and wine. He is passionate about the region, the history and def recommend. Great way to meet people as well
Alex was a wonderful tour guide. We did a walking tour of Santiago de Compostela. He was very knowledgeable about the city and restaurants. Enjoyed learning about the history of the city. A great guide - would definitely recommend. Next time - we will do the tapas tour with him.
Had an unforgettable evening under the expert guidance of Alex! Delicious local tapas and wines. Alex is a super friendly guide and clearly enjoys his work. The live music after the tapas was authentic and delicious with the locals. No mass tourism😃😃
Alex was a great guide and I had a fantastic time. We had a lot of great tapas and wine pairings at several stops in the old town. Alex knows a lot about the food, history and culture of the area and is obviously passionate about sharing his love for Santiago and Galicia with visitors. Afterwards, he took us to a local bar to see some live music. It was a great evening. Highly recommended if you’re in town for the night.
Alex is fun and knowledgeable. It's a fun way to see old town and learn of some great old historical places.
We were lucky to get Alex, the guide, all to ourselves last night! Our tour was extremely informative of the foods, wines and even the popular chestnuts that grow in the region. For those that might be tired and don't want to walk all over Santiago del Compostela, I assure you that all of the stops on this tour are close together. This is not just a cheese and meat tasting. The varied foods that we got to sample were all delicious. Highly recommend this tour!
Thank you so much for your nice review! I really appreciate it!
Tour was good. Started a bit slow at the market but Alex was great. Very knowledgeable on the region.
