Great guide
Tomio was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. He knows a lot of information about the tour, the shrine and jomon. He had a lot of great tips and history facts, throughout the day he would tell us which area is known for what when we drove by. He was also great at recommending food to try. He really tries to get to know his guests and what to recommend them. He’s such a great guide , we would definitely book him again for another Aomori tour or if he has one in another prefecture we visit!

Fun Ride Through Aomori Prefecture
We traveled to Aomori while visiting our son in Japan, deciding to go north in August for a bit cooler weather and to experience sites that we would not ordinarily get to see. Our guide Tomio was enjoyable and informed, and was able to adjust the schedule to suit our interests. The Takayama Inari Shrine involved a beautiful ride through the countryside, with Tomio sharing local insights into the history of the region and differences between Shinto and Buddhist practices. The tour of the Shrine was really enjoyable and a beautiful hike, and the subsequent visit to the Tsurunomai-hashi bridge was breathtaking. We had a great tour with Tomio, and would use him again if we ever returned to the area.

Beautiful Tour
This tour was beautiful, informative and multifaceted. Tomio was a wonderful guide, who had great expertise, English language skills and patience. He was open for all my extra wishes during the tour and even made an extra stop at a local Museum, which was very interesting. I recommend this trip to everyone visiting Aomori prefecture ~

Very Educational.
First, the correspondence between myself and our guide, Mr. Yokouchi was very good. He answered my questions shortly after I had messaged him.
Second, our half day outing with Mr. Yokouchi was very informative as he told us all about the Takayama Inari shrine and history of the Jomon people.
He set a good pace and time alloted for the Shrine, Jomon museum & Jr Station with the Jomon statue. Where we didn't feel rushed at any of these places.

Great Takayama Inari Shrine Tour
Yokouchi-San was incredibly friendly and professional. Arrived on time at the meeting point and let me make small changes to the itinerary based on some options he had.
He was also quite nice to talk to during the drive around, and was very knowledgeable about Japan, not just the tour spots. He gave me some great recommendations of what to do and eat all over Japan!
Would highly recommend hiring him if you need a tour in Northern Honshu/Hokkaido

Excellent tour with fantastic guide
This tour is a great way to get to some places that would be difficult and time consuming to get to by public transport. My guide/driver Tomio Yokouchi spoke excellent English and was courteous and knowledgeable about the history and culture of northern Japan. I thought this tour was great value and highly recommend it.
