Half-day that goes by very quickly. The whole family enjoyed it!
We loved this! We were overall really impressed with the value of this tour. We got an hour ride boat ride there and back, which was fun, about 15-20 minutes with the pigs, paddle boarding, kayaks, and water trampolines, and snorkeling (included in the price), a sea turtle encounter, which was amazing, and a harbor tour. We left at 9:30, and returned around 2:15, with some time to still explore Nassau. Overall we really enjoyed it! I think it may have been cheaper in person, but I’m not totally sure. It was worth the peace of mind to book in advance though.
This was our third experience with the Rose Island swimming pigs express thru Tour Daddy - each one is better than the previous visit! Fabulous value for a wonderful half day excursion while visiting Nassau on a cruise. The ride to and from the pigs is soothing and refreshing. Once at the Sand Dollar Resort, the beach and water are pristine … you can relax quietly in the turquoise crystal clear water or enjoy included water sports such as kayaks, SUPs, snorkeling equipment and floating trampolines. The beach bar and staff there are exceptional- nothing beats a cold drink while enjoying paradise. The pig experience is priceless and the entire team is wonderful. Watching the “release the pigs” is pure joy and having them swim amongst the group while we feed them is such an experience. Afterwards, you get to hold and be photographed with piglets in your arms. So worth the money!!! We’re already looking forward to our next (fourth!!!) visit!
Had a great time! If you can I would book this in the afternoon instead of morning, the beach was shaded in the morning.
Amazing Experience 5☆☆☆☆☆ Water taxi was great. Very organised. Lovely welcome by all staff. Whole activity was outstanding. My kids absolutely loved it! Once in a lifetime experience.
We had the best time on this excursion while on a cruise that stopped in Nassau in July 2026. The boat ride to Rose Island was relaxing and enjoyable. Once there, we were able to swim or relax until time to meet the piggies! They gave clear instructions on how to interact with the pigs and each person was given a cup of food and skewer to aid in feeding them. We did that for a while then had the chance to hold a piglet and get a picture taken. My daughter has wanted to do this for years and we finally said yes. So glad we did. We all laughed the entire time and I have some of the best pictures to remember this trip. It was much less expensive than booking with the cruise ship and the ability to cancel until 24 hours befoe was a nice bonus in case something came up.
Got a pink wristband, they put everyone on the boat with pink wristbands which was like 20 people which was comfortable. Then they crammed like 15 more people on the boat so the ride was uncomfortable. It was like a 30-35 minute boat ride btw. Pigs were cool but it was like a 10 minute experience on a 2 hour excursion. On the trip back we stopped to see turtles which some people enjoyed but for me personally it just made me feel stuck on a boat for way longer than I wanted to be. They dropped people off at the original pickup spot. Offered to drop people staying at paradise island to drop them closer which they did but they parked the boat on the outskirts of the dock so it was still like a 25 minute walk, if they actually pulled into the dock, the walk would of been maybe 15 minutes. For the money I paid, would never do this again!!
We sincerely hope you re-read your own review at some point. You may realize that many of the things you’re complaining about are exactly what you booked. Anyway… 1. Our tour is one of the most competitively priced in The Bahamas and offers exceptional value for everything included. Expecting the same experience for even less is an interesting business model—one that unfortunately doesn’t exist. 2. The boats are spacious and specifically designed for group tours. If you were looking for a more exclusive experience, we also offer private charters. 3. Yes, the boat ride is approximately 30 minutes each way. That’s because private islands are, believe it or not, not attached to Nassau. This isn’t a surprise hidden in the fine print—it’s clearly stated in the tour description before booking. 4. The turtle stop is an advertised part of the tour (depending on which tour is booked). We’re glad so many guests enjoy it. Unfortunately, we can’t rush everyone else through an activity or skip it entirely because one person would rather not participate. That’s generally how group tours work. 5. We also apologize for the unbearable hardship of a 10-minute walk after the captain went out of his way to provide an ADDITIONAL complimentary courtesy drop-off on Paradise Island. He could have only returned everyone to the original downtown drop-off location listed on your confirmation, leaving you to arrange transportation back to your hotel instead. 6. As for your suggestion that the captain should have simply “pulled in” somewhere else on Paradise Island—boats don’t operate like cars. Captains can only dock where they’re authorized, especially when making an unscheduled courtesy stop. Marinas have rules, designated docking areas, and often significant fees. Contrary to popular belief, captains can’t just pull up wherever they feel like. Perhaps next time, instead of assuming everything was done incorrectly, consider the possibility that there are operational realities behind the scenes that guests don’t always see. It’s worth considering before criticizing people who were actually trying to accommodate you. Thank you for your ridiculous feedback, and we genuinely wish you the best on your future travels.
It was an amazing excursion. The pigs swimming in the water was fantastic. It was clean and very well structured. After the pigs you get to enjoy the island with paddle boarding, kayaking or water trampoline. The beach is beautiful with the clearest water. They only negative or misleading thing is that there was no turtle viewing. Overall however it was fantastic and I would do it again.
The experience was good, and overall I would recommend it. The beach area was small so it got crowded, but the water was nice and clear. The pigs were very cute, but time with them was short - maybe only 15 minutes and then another 10-15 minutes in line to take a photo with a baby pig. I went with some children and they all enjoyed it. The only reason I can’t give it 5 star is because it’s nearly half price when paying cash in person. If I’d known, I wouldn’t have purchased online and just done it when I got there.
the meeting spot was not at the correct location. it was a 3rd company no viator signs. You only actual get 15 mins with pigs.
Good Day. For those that are not aware, Viator/Trip Advisor/Get You Guide/etc. are BOOKING platforms. These booking platforms do not own or manage any of the tours advertised around the world….The sign had our company logo which is the operator that you booked with and the operator is clearly stated on your Viator booking. Otherwise no one would ever find anyone if everyone labeled their booth Viator since they advertise millions of tours around the world. As for the pig encounter, it is 30-40 mins long. Guests are expected to manage their time properly once guides announce the start time for groups. If you’re not keeping conscious of time and arrive to the beach area late, of course your time will feel cut short. Thank you.
