Itinerary
We start of at the calm and secluded Carvalho beach where we'll do a briefing on safety & instructions. To access the beach we go Down a ancient Carved Tunnel in the Rock. Here we can see the Rock tower off carvalho's waters and it's bending limestone walls. *The meeting point is done at Carvalho's beach parking lot, next to our coloured Brotherootz van. There will be 24 guests meeting up, where they will be splited in half, two separate tours. Each group of 12 will go with a guide on the tour.
After getting out of Carvalho's we visit some hidden Caves along the way, and after that we reach the buzzling Benagil beach where we can observe the village fishing historic past.
Then, just right after the Benagil beach, we reach the famous Benagil Cave, where we'll stop to take some beautiful photos at the famous "sinkhole" with historic, geologic and Ecological insights on the region of Algarve. After the guides explanations, you can explore the cave by yourself, or follow the guide to some cool hidden fossils. After 30 min ir so, we continue our adventure, and get out of the cave with the guide's assistance
After getting out of the Benagil Cave, we paddle along towards Marinha beach, and in the way, we enter and visit more hidden caves and "Sinkholes" When we get to Marinha Beach , We pass underneath the famous Arches of Marinha, and stop for Great photos Then we paddle direction Carvalho's Beach
If we still have time, depending on the group, we go for a visit at the "Island of the smuggler". Here we enter a gigantic tunnel inside this rock formation, and we observe 2 beautiful holes in the ceiling, wich we call the "the blue eyes" photos will be taken
After getting out of the Tunnel of "Island of the Smuggler" we can observe the lighthouse in all its glory. And then we head back to the beach wich is just 5 minutes away from this point. Photos will be taken

Very beautiful half-day spent in a kayak with our great guide David. He didn't speak French but we managed to understand him in English. It's the excursion to do to really enjoy the visit to the caves. We did it at 8:30 AM, I recommend it because afterwards there are more boats that "hinder" the visit.
Such a great excursion! Recommend going at 6:30 am if you can before boat traffic starts. Miguel was a fun guide and so knowledgeable about the area and environment. The kayaks were comfortable - they provide all the gear (helmets, dry bag, comfortable life vests). We would definitely do it again!

Listen, I know that the meeting time feels early for a vacation, but trust me, it is well worth it! The beach and waters were peaceful and uncrowded and the guides were very efficient so you get to be out on the water a good long time. We were with Rui and we can’t say enough good things about him. He was relaxed, knowledgeable and fun. This was an unforgettable experience!

We got to see about 8 caves, some that other tour companies didn’t seem to go to. We took the 8:30 am excursion and because the tide was low, we were able to really see the depth of the caves. Our tour guides, Bruno and David, were very fun, thought us a bunch of things about the caves and were very experienced on the water which was reassuring for us. We got great photos from them but also got the time to take our own wherever we were going. We were a family of 4 with 2 children (13 and 10) and it was not difficult to follow the group. We highly recommand Brotherootz Sup Tours!
Superb outing first thing in the morning.. So pleasant to feel alone in this magnificent place! To avoid the traffic jam of boats and canoes, do not hesitate to get up early. Awesome small group outing!
Our family had an incredible experience on the Sunrise Benagil Cave tour! Traveling with children aged 10 & 12, we were looking for a tour that was safe, enjoyable, and memorable, and it exceeded all of our expectations. An unforgettable experience from start to finish! The kayaking was incredible, the 4K photos turned out amazing, and the scenery was absolutely stunning.
