We booked this early morning balloon flight for my birthday. When we arrived, we were met by 12 other people and were briefed and loaded into a small passenger vehicle and brought to the field where we would load up our balloon. The space was quite tight in the basket, but not too uncomfortable. The Captain was funny…. telling a bunch of Dad jokes along the way, but made us feel comfortable. We were in the air for approximately 60 to 70 minutes and the whole thing took 2.5 hours followed by a glass of delicious champagne and a toast to our successful journey.It was a beautiful day for floating and captain Bill was gracious in answering all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling through the Temecula area.
Bill was an excellent guide giving us information. It shows that he loves his job. The views were spectacular and the landing impressive very gentle. This was our first Hot Air Balloon ride but I don’t think it will be our last. Although the early wake up time was a challenge it was well worth it. Definitely recommend if you are in Temecula,

Front start to finish, everything about this experience with Grape Escape Balloon Adventures was wonderful. The employees are friendly and professional and our pilot Pete who was also our van driver and bar tender was sincerely as good one gets at their occupation. He talked with such a confident stride and has so much experience he immediately lends a calmness and excitement to the experience. Being there for the predawn inflation of the balloon was incredible. The slow ascent while moving across the vineyards and citrus orchards while the sun rose over the mountains was breathtaking. After about an hour of flight time Pete communicated via two way radio with Kevin and the ground crew where he intended to land and brought us down so gently you never felt the actual touchdown. I can’t wait to come back again and highly recommend this company if decide to go ballooning in Temecula!

Couldn’t rate this high enough! No pun intended. From the very beginning, everything went smoothly. The meeting location was easy to find, the setup point was a short drive away, setup was quick and Bill (pilot) explained everything that was going on. The flight lasted slightly more than an hour and was incredibly smooth and beautiful. Bill answered all of our questions and his decades of experience showed as he masterfully piloted our balloon above Temecula with accuracy that’s hard to believe until you witness it yourself. Is it expensive? Can you put a price tag on lifelong memories? It was worth every penny, couldn’t recommend it enough. DO IT!

This was a bucket list experience and for those who are afraid/wary of heights like me, all I can say is do it! My preconceived “what ifs” were all wrong. There was no bouncing or wind or sense of being out of control. We literally floated off the ground, seemingly effortlessly thanks to Bill, who told the history of what was below while navigating the balloon. Everyone in the balloon bonded quickly bc we all shared this once in a lifetime event that we will never forget.
