If ur thinking about it then do it, it was very fun, they gave us food to feed the seagulls, they were eating out of our hands, saw many dolfins, jumping swimming, some right next to the boat, the bird on their crew was a good addition
10/10 experience, took my mom here for her 54th birthday. We loved it, was a great experience, it did start raining but that didn’t bother us not one bit! The Captain & crew were extremely friendly, the captain even let us take pictures with his macaw Lucy!!
Yes you will see dolphins! We arrived early like we were told to, to be ready to board about 9am. Sunny and hot. 2 young ladies were on the boat sitting on the bridge chatting when we got there. One of the girls left the boat to go get breakfast, walked past all of us standing in line 3 times and didn’t say a word or give any info like “we will be with you soon, just waiting on Captain etc”. Not a word. Captain rolled in about 9:14, walked past us all and also did not say a word. Finally the girl came up to us in line and gave us info and we boarded the boat. More info while we left the pier. I want to give kudos to the other young lady who was the spotter for Dolphins. She was very kind, and interactive with everyone. We felt the Lady in the water “surprise” was not an attraction for children. Definitely wanted more cruising in that time to continue seeing dolphins and our waterways. We then turned around to head back to the pier and 2 bags of Cheetos were opened for everyone to grab and feed the dang seagulls all the way back! SMH I guess that was the crews easy entertainment for the return trip, paying customers can entertain themselves. By the way, there was not a parrot on board like you see in the advertisements. YES we are locals and had our grandchildren here visiting. We have been on many trips and tours in our years of traveling and I am sad to say, this was the most unwelcoming “dolphin tour” we have ever been on. The only time the Captain spoke was goodbye’s at the end. Then we saw smiles and tip boxes in their hands. Funny(?) song starting playing as we all disembarked..”Hit the Road Jack”… nope we won’t be back no more, no more, no more,no more🎶
The experience was cut incredibly short by a storm that came in, so no dolphins this time. That said, the crew was super informative, incredibly friendly and welcoming, and kept our safety in mind. They had everyone laughing and were very professional (yet fun). If im ever in that area again, I will definitely try again and hope for no storms. Refund was issued for our lost trip, no questions asked. But I wish I we were staying longer, bc I would've taken a replacement trip instead!
Boy, we got to see a lot of dolphins! Also, we had a few fun surprises along the way that just added to the experience - our family had a great time. The crew was friendly and it was fun being on the boat - very comfortable - in spite of the 100° day!
