Submarine Safaris Lanzarote operate one of the world´s most sophisticated Submarines from the millionaires marina of Puerto Calero. Dive up to 100ft / 30m to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean without getting wet on our huge 44 seated submarine. There are only 15 of these submarines in the world! The cabin is spacious and is maintained at normal atmospheric conditions, so pregnant women, heart patients and persons with ear problems will not be affected in any way. We have 22 large port holes down the each side to view the vast array of marine life (sea breams, rays, barracuda, eels, groupers and much more) Look out for shipwrecks resting on the ocean floor, and learn all about the various marine life. Exceptional experience!
Massive thank you to Max on 7/9/26 myself my mother and my elderly grandpa attended the tour. My grandpa loves his ships and submarines and was very excited about this tour and it could not have been better for him, I’ve not seen him so childishly happy like he was on this tour in a long time. He even saw a stingray as seen in attached video which was a highlight for him for sure!
Max ensured that grandpa had suitable time to board the sub and had a good chat with him also making him feel valued and welcome.
Myself and mother also absolutely loved it too, top 3 life experience without a doubt but the smile on his face during it made the whole journey worth it!
Cannot thank Max enough we loved it 10/10 no doubt!

Dont expect to see too much
PROS - Very well organised. Pick up on time. Polite guide and driver. Great welcome and short intro and safety procedures shown on big screen. Easy access to sub.
CONS - Windows too low or seats to high ( depending on your height ) and because of this you have to strain your neck a bit. Finally, the sealife we saw was minimal in diversity. Loads of fish but all the same. I know we could have just been unlucky. But ive been on enough of these excursions to know they claim you see more than you do. Maybe if we had seen a stingray or a grouper , or a Barracuda or Eel ( or not expected to see one ) then we might not have been a little disappointed with the trip.

Submarine
Very good, the main fish we saw were just seabreams, would have been better if we saw other types of fishes. But overall not bad experience for kids.

Good experience
Very good experience to have done but a little overpriced. Picked up from the hotel which was good, guide was ok and submarine tour very well organised and good on-board audio guide. Seemed to not be a big variety of fish to see (I get that this is outwith the operators control to be fair). Wrecks were interesting enough and particularly liked the undersea bodega! Wouldn't not recommend it, it's well worth doing but just seemed to miss meeting our expectations from what other reviewers have said... that might be on us though. Was a bit concerned as I suffer from motion sickness - not a problem on this tour though thankfully, so don't let it put you off.
Overall a good experience.
