Strudel cruise on the Danube in Regensburg

Description
Sightseeing on board the historic MS Bruckmadl A breath of history blows around your nose with the wind! On board the MS Bruckmadl, passengers on the "Historic Strudel Tour" not only learn a lot about Regensburg's rich history. This boat trip is also a journey into the past of the Wurm & Noé shipping company, because the Bruckmadl has been there since the beginning under the name MS Agnes Bernauer. Today it shines in a modern, casual maritime style, but has lost none of its historical charm. The main focus of the tour itself is on the history of Regensburg, with interesting facts and sights explained via on-board loudspeakers during the 45-minute trip under the Stone Bridge. A must for tourists and locals alike!

The boat was nice and sitting in the covered area outside was nice. Unfortunately I was hoping for more history. The speaker was in German and then English and when it did speak, it would go on for quite some time, unfortunately. By the time the English translation was on, it would reference a viewpoint, and it was unclear if it actually was where we currently were or where it was when it spoke about it in German. It would be nice if it broke up the section into smaller speeches that could then be translated more quickly. I feel like there’s a lot more of the history that could’ve been given. Unfortunately it was mostly just a boat ride.
Great way to see Regensburg from a different angle. Very pleasant boat trip with some historical facts delivered from a tape. Bonus is the bar service. All you need from coffee, ice cream or alcoholic drinks, all at reasonable prices
It was very nice. Easy to find and well organized. Boarding was very fast. The staff was very friendly.
The tour is a nice change to sit for a moment and is suitable for any weather. There were a few audio guides for the main attractions, but the cozy gathering is the focus. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The ship was quite empty. A friendly Hungarian served us on deck and was also open to a little conversation. At 29 degrees and bright sunshine, the tour could have easily lasted twice as long. The historical information about Regensburg (in German and English) was entertaining.
Regensburg is a beautiful place! It has a real buz, sightseeing or relaxing at a bar especially by the Danube or shopping, something for everyone. The stone bridge is a real landmark
