Tasty fun!

This was a great way to taste our way through the Stockyards while learning the history. We walked from one end of the Stockyard to the other while making 4 stops for food. We felt we had a full meal by the end. Our guide was friendly and informative.

Best Food Tour in Fort Worth

Mary Elizabeth was our guide today and absolutely fabulous! She not only took us to several delicious destinations, but also shared some of Fort Worth’s unique and interesting history. Me and my two boys were the only ones on the tour today, and that probably helped to make it extra special. She helped take our pictures, made recommendations, took a pit stop into the White Elephant for a look at our request, and was extremely friendly as well as knowledgeable answering our questions. I highly recommend this tour with Mary Elizabeth! Another key detail, my son forgot his bag at one of our stops, and she called the place retrieved it for us! How nice is that?!! Also, another thing to add is that we were definitely happily full at the end of the tour. Highly recommend!!

Enjoyable outing

This is an absolutely awesome three hours if you’re looking for something to do in Fort Worth. As a local, I always knew that Texas food was fantastic, but it was awesome to have somebody cater every option and choice along the way. Mary Elizabeth was a fantastic tour guide who gave great insights along the way. The three hours was a perfect time to be able to not just enjoy the food and the sites but to also get to know the other people on the tour.

Awesome

I came to Dallas-Fort Worth for FIFA and had some free time, so I decided to check out the Stockyards and do this food tour. So glad I did! I tried chicken fried steak for the first time and also had the Fry Bread at Hookers, which was so good. I really enjoyed walking around the Stockyards and learning about the history and stories behind everything. We ended at Second Rodeo and had such a fun time there. Great atmosphere, great food and a really fun group. Definitely a fun way to spend some free time between all the soccer excitement!!!!!

Fun way to see the town, meet a great tour guide, and try some great BBQ

Zoe was great. She was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. If you get a chance to visit Ft Worth try to meet up with anything she is putting on. Very awesome tour and visit. The food was good and plentiful. My only complaints would be with tripadvisor itself. The data shared by the app did not match the actual meeting point

Great food, marginal on history

I read the reviews prior to booking and everyone raved about the touguide, Scott. We didn’t get Scott and the tour guide matters. Our tour guide, Courtney, did not know much history and could not answer most of our questions. She also offered to get answers but never did. The food was very good. Had some things we hadn’t had before and we are from Texas. Sidesaddle salon has the best Margueritas. We went back there after the tour. So if looking to try some good food and walk around the stockyards, this is a good tour. If looking for some good historic content and some storytelling, check who the guide is prior to booking.

Great mix of Ft. Worth food and history!

Scott was fantastic- he knew a lot of great Ft. Worth history and tied it into the broader US history. The food selections were wonderful. We likely would not have gone to any of the locations selected and each was very good and unique. In addition, another group that was to have been on our tour cancelled and the company continued the tour with just the two of us. They were very kind and accommodating. A great tour and we highly recommend Scott and this tour.
