The Sterling Castle portion of the trip is great! There was ample time to see the whole castle and grounds. The Loch Lomond portion was meh. Quite boring and not worth the expense. The shining star of the entire experience was our driver Alastair!! He was entertaining with his quick wit and sense of humor, as well as very knowledgeable about the sites and history, all while making us feel safe the entire trip!
This was a great tour starting with Sterling Castle and then a cruise on Loch Lomond, lunch at the Bank etc!
Great tour! Our guide was excellent!
Our tour was disappointing. The drivers historical commentary was poorly prepared and orated. Compounded by his microphone being very muffled. Sterling Castle is amazing and I would recommend all to visit and partake in a guided tour provided by the castle. We would have loved to have stayed there longer. Book the castle only.
Hi, Thank you for your review. How great is it to hear that you loved visiting Stirling Castle. It looks like an amazing attraction to visit, and I've not had the chance to go yet. However, we're sorry to hear that you were disappointed in your driver-guide's commentary and that his microphone was not working well. Our teams are trained to provide engaging storytelling and commentary, and I know how big of a role it plays in the overall enjoyment of the tour. I regret to hear that we seem to have missed the mark on this occasion. We're taking your feedback on board and will be making sure to check the microphone to ensure it works well for all future tours. We truly appreciate you choosing us for your tour and hope to be able to welcome you back in the future and offer you an experience that meets your expectations. All the best, Camille
Peter was very polite and a great storyteller. He shared a lot more information than we expected - all interesting about the history of Scotland, Stirling castle and Loch Lomond. Highly recommend.
Anazing day with Glascow John and Rabbies. John was a great tour guide, very entertaining and knowledgeable. He looked after us on a very wet day. His recommendations for eating etc were spot on. The castle is lovely and we loved the Loch Lomond cruise. John took us through the backroads and we saw some amazing scenery. Thanks for a great day, wouid definitely recommend Rabbies for any other tours.
This was a thoroughly enjoyable trip. Our driver and guide James, was extremely knowledgeable and explained all the sites as we went along. The guided tour of Sterling Castle was great and our guide was very clear and informative. We enjoyed the boat trip on Loch Lomond even though the weather eas not great.
Heather was an outstanding driver and guide. She was an experienced guide with so much enthusiasm for the history of Scotland. My husband, Jeff, and I thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Stirling Castle and Loch Lomond. Sincerely, Robin McLaughlin
Shame on you! Your driver left 5 minutes earlier with full bus and you send me while having a conversation on the phone about booking 3 places for my family, a link of payment although you were having a full bus, while my husband was waiting with our two daughters to get on the bus. I was lucky they were there and did not pay otherwise I would have lost a great amount of money!
James provided an excellent touring experience. He was knowledgeable about the history, patient with all travelers, and friendly.
